Essentially, except to people who grew up in a place where police wear Hi Viz. Those people will actually take direction from you

Hi-Viz is great for Traffic cones and construction vests and other things that are essentially stationary. It also is great for other Hi-Viz riders to see you a mile away. No one else sees you and I think there are not a lot of Riders on GTAM that ride with Hi-Viz.

To the dude on bicycle who stopped and asked me if I was alright; I believe you said you ride too. Thanks for the concern. Pretty sure it's gonna be a write off... ****in' moronic drivers.

I commute downtown Toronto and ride the same routes to and from home. The week I started wearing Highvis - it was unbelievable how more noticeable I became to people . I see this in less cars creeping in from side streets and waiting, less drivers turning in front of me. More space given to me at the lights or in traffic. I see riders spot me all the time.. They just dont post it here. I'd rather wear HiViz and increase the odds then ride with highbeams and reduce them - Ok.. dont want to start another highbeams discussion here! lol!

Dont care at all if other riders dont wear HiViz, All I care is about myself.

This. When I got my Hi-Viz jacket, I told the clerk I didn't care how [homosexual slur deleted] I looked, I wanted to be seen. Not one person over the age of 17 has made fun of me yet.

You like being searched at the airport even though you know you have nothing to hide? Same concept.

So whatr you're saying is...

Airport and airplanes = high risk of terrorist attack and/or hijackings.

Tim Horton's parking lot = high risk of terrorist attack and/or hijackings.

Did someone say r1timmy?

You: Beautiful girl on a 600 (Ninja, I think...) with an Italian flag on the tank.
Me: In my car

Driving along Mount Pleasant Rd. With all the visual circumstances I could not resist myself and totally let go by screaming out --
"I Love You!"....
Oh, and a... Nice bike!

I wear a hiviz vest. It rocks, multiple pockets. But it can only be worn by the strong. Leather wearing pirates and leather wearing cruiser lesbians don't like waving at hiviz riders because we are not real enough so unreturned waves run the risk of hurting feelings. It is almost as if we ride can-am spyders or something.

Saw a certain lil sushi on a certain yellow CBR heading up John at Adelaide just now.

Parttimer and I were squidding hardcore... On foot. Lol.

Good to see ya!

ROFLMAO!! Good seeing you two!! I was laughing in my helmet cuz it took so long for me to notice you guys...LOL I'm such a space cadet today!

dude on a black ducati monster wearing a white t-shirt, did a U-turn to pull up beside me on York Mills eastbound at Lesile. Said you wanted to find people to ride with. Why didn't you keep up but instead drop back at the light?

My nitrous bottle was empty, and my turbo wouldn't spool up fast enough to keep up to you :D

Tonight just after 8:30PM, heading down Spadina then along the Gardiner:

You: Female rider on a pink BMW sport-tourer w/sidebags and backpack. Nice bike & setup!
Me: On my '05 V-Strom, oddly intrigued at seeing a pink BMW. lol. I'm assuming custom paint job??

Always good to see fellow sport-tourers on the road, especially the seemingly rare female ones. Ride safe.

Saw this bike in Greece yesterday...

Some bikes that you won't see in Canada!

My neighbour actually has that exact bike. 15 or 20 years old and he only has around 30,000 kms on it. lol

**EDIT: I was referring to the FZR. =)

Woah what happened?

Someone pulled out infont of me. If you know hamilton: King street east, west bound. Guy pulling left from eastbend south across 4 lanes to turn right onto eastbend north right infront of me (I was in far right curb lane and king street east at that point is a 4 lane 1 way.)
However, just got good news! Other driver deemed 100% at fault. 65 year old guy, said he didn't see me.
