Re: I Saw You - Durham Riders Version

Maybe I'll take the note pad and learn to ride no hands so I can write down the bikes I see :)

Get one of these babies, you can text while riding or lay back on your pillion seat for a rest (tested by me personally!)

I was going around today hoping someone saw me and posted here :(

It was discovered, last year, that the only way to make it into the 'I saw you' is by upgrading to a Duc

GSXR-600? w/ Go Pro cam mounted on the tail of the bike on Mavis close to the 407 @ approx 6:00 pm. At one point you stood up on the pegs. You were boxed in by traffic and I could tell you wanted to go. (Traffic on Mavis is crappy) Thought you were actually going to lane split at one point. Once you saw an opening you were gone, gone gone!

Yah no... I have one of those and still no luck on the I saw you...

On other news, we spotted a beautiful, mint condition, yellow Honda 400 super sport today at a Tims on Kingstone road. Gorgeous bike with the pipes painted black.. One thing, no license plate at all, and the cops did not seem to mind.

I got one and it doesnt hold the speed,I even use the little band that came with it,I may move it to a different spot and see if it holds.

It would need to hold the throttle wide open... It's how I ride :). Lol

Re: I Saw You - Durham Riders Version

I'm waiting from some rain fall to get rid of this grime on the roads. This winter has been long. Causing some serious anxiety and *****

It can do that.

Works fine for me. Did you get the right size for your bars? There's 7/8" and 1" if i remember correctly.

I only have problems when trying to keep it held at low throttle. You could try taking a ziptie and putting it through the hole on the top part and wrap it under the bottom to make it tighter.

You can also make one with a coat hanger for free LOL (I did, it works.)

Agreed. I have the same problem. Doesn't seem to work me.

It can do that.

Tried the zip too. No dice.

I had the same issues, and moving to a different spot didn't help.

I fixed it by getting some aircraft safety wire and looping it though the hole and around the bottom in such a way that I could tighten the wire to make it clamp better. After doing that It works perfectly. (Any strong enough wire would probably work, but the Aircraft safty wire is stainless so no concerns about rusting plus it is designed for this kind of thing. I'm sure there are other safety wires out there that are just as good but that is what I had laying around home.)

Re: I Saw You - Durham Riders Version

I saw you today on the West bound 401 Collector lanes through Mississauga;

You were riding (what looked like) a matte-black ninja 250? Or perhaps an F4 - I didn't get much of a look because you were on the shoulder, and slowly rocking your bike back and fourth.... carb troubles? Hope it all worked out. Sorry I didn't pull over to help: I was 3 lanes over and fighting traffic in my cage.
