July 16th, two riders one on a 1000cc and another riding a r6, joined you down the DVP exit to bayview. Me black r6,

Also saw a guy in a gixer gunning it like a moron down the dvp.
 
I saw Dhurv_k today on the 407 around 8am.....but I don't think it counts because we were both in cages lol

I hate high beams in the daytime as well; but I do have to comment: i got a new bike in March, basically a new generation of what I have been riding. The controls are just slightly different and, on occasion, I find that I accidentally hit the high-beam switch as well.

Do we really need to insult people just because they made a mistake?

insult people? if you get genuinely insulted by other riders choosing not to wave back, life is going to be very long and hard for you...

That said, sure mistakes happen, but you know as well as I do MOST riders you see with their high beams on did not hit the switch by mistake... I've hit mine by mistake too.. a few minutes go by and you notice the blue light on the dash and turn it off, no harm no foul.


ANYWAY.. I think we've spent more then enough time on the guys high beam.. I just thought it was a funny post, apparently I was wrong.. moving right along.

My highbeam indicator light doesn't work (haven't replaced it yet).

also Ithink the insult he was talking about was calling the guy a ******/etc.

He didn't call that guy any names... But he did insult him by pointing out the "douchevest" ... lol! Kidding!

Hey should we go for a beer together? I mean EVERYBODY who's involved in this high beam comment. Luc should even go find the guy with highbeam on and in a douchevest. I'd love to meet him in person... lol!

LOL! Yes.. Yes I did say he was wearing a douchvest... that's voicing my dislike for the vest, not the guy wearing it though.. I didn't come out and call him a d.o.u.c.h.e.b.a.g !

Man this forum is over sensitive lol.. If I say I don't like red cars did I just insult everyone who owns one? LOL.

Anyway.. beer is a great idea! If anyone knows the guy in question set it up. I'll even buy his first round if he agrees to turn the high beam off from now on :)

texts are easy to be misunderstood or taken in the wrong way cuz they don't show the emotions, and too often people can't really tell if you are joking or being serious... I'm sure that if we were at Timmy's and you were telling us this story, it would result in a good laugh and fun conversation.

anyways, I see that no douchevest guy, no beer. Now I have a mission... busy... gotta go...
