These things have nothing to do with motorcycles .They where invented for people that generally never rode motorcycles .They take up as much of a lane as a car .I don`t get why they wave to us ?I don`t get car drivers waving to me .

Just beacuse you wear a helmet you are not a motorcyclist . Wave to your own(or to other cars ) !
 
I feel bad for them, I imagine they'd rather be on a 2 wheel bike, but can't. So I wave, and make their day. I don't need to discriminate to make myself feel big.

I drive a car and I always give the "wave" to bikers.

..And for some reason they always give me the strangest of looks. Although, I, myself have received a wave(the good wave, not the "offensive hand gesture":p) from cars drivers and respond with a "nod"
 
Rough morning OP??? So much discrimination and hate towards 3 wheels...wow.
 
I wave to everyone... One, two, three wheels. Cagers, kids, anyone who gets a kick out of seeing my bike roll by. My cruiser makes me smile, I love to share that with others.

You're absolutely right. I once saw a man being assisted from his wheelchair onto one of these three-wheel motorcycles. OP, continue to ride your two-wheels and acknowledge how blessed you are to be able to.

I am with you. I am nobody specially to choose who rides and does not. I have meet Veterans who have no choice but to ride on 3 wheels. I thank them for their service. P.S. I am not a snob.

The Piaggio has a "setting" where the scooter leans over. Good enough for me!

I give Spyders 2-fingers off the clutch. which seems weird...feels like I should be giving them 3?
 
good for you...most of us could give a **** less who you like to wave to and who you don't.
 
No issue with regular trikes .At least they began life as a bike .

The scooter out too !


I have seen people that have disabilities ride trikes( real trikes ) .I`ll probably end up on one later in life .These other vehicles are not bikes .

I will never understand the need for moto-people to take themselves so seriously. 3, 4, 6 wheels? Who cares? Have fun with it

Saw a guy with a prosthetic leg riding a can-am. I have a feeling those things are a miracle for people with disabilities who still want to get a similar rush to that of riding a motorcycle.

Let's just hope that we can all enjoy ours for as long as we feel like.
So no, I don't feel like they don't "belong" or whatever.

Besides, if someone waves at you and you're not too busy/tired of waving, it's only nice to wave back regardless of their mode of transportation anyway.
 
I wave to everyone. Even cops on bikes (mostly for the funny reactions) might come a day where you need a trike or can am op. Be happy you don't now. Only bike I don't wave at is an e-bike
