Exactly.

There is no denying that we have way too much micromanaging going on with our government. However, there is no need to give them more evidence that we can't take care of ourselves.

When you drive/ride with no regard to others, be prepared to suffer the consequences. And I don't want to hear you whine about how you were nabbed by some cop who should have been fighting real crime. We all know there are cops out there with no other task than to jam you for speeding etc and collect your income for gov't coffers. Because there is some truth to the argument that aggressive driving endangers lives, cops and tickets aren't going anywhere.

When guys are racing their cars or bikes down 400 series highways and have some sort of high profile incident, it only adds support to draconian laws like HTA172.

Politicians with an agenda...? Insurance companies with an agenda...? MADD with an agenda...? You didn't know this is how the world very often works? Get over it.

Quietly operate within the madness and attract as little attention to yourself as need be.

Riding down a 400 series highway on your back wheel is not the way to do this.

I dont understand why people dont mind their own business, way too many people out there with nothing better to do with their lives. Yes it is dangerous and dumb to do a wheelie on any Hwy and risk hurting yourself and others around you but F%^K people have been riding like that since the 90's from what I can remember and I dont remember hearing people calling the cops to report them.

The problem today is that there are way too many NEW Riders who think they can ride and are getting into accidents acting stupid. This is one of the main causes I have seen with whats causing the motorcycle industry to go down here. All these accidents that are happening, riders that are dying I would say 90+% of them are New Riders. I dont have any facts to back this up but its what it seems like juding by the ages of the people who are getting hurt or dying from these accidents.

Bottom line is people need to mind their own business and look the other way and just let people be. If they crash and get hurt oh well keep driving and go where you gotta go. If someone wants to ride stupid and hurts himself then let him deal with it dont get involved its none of your business. Its just like the friggen traffic on the highway cause because a few idiots nee to slow down on the highway to watch some guy change his tire causing traffic to be backed up for 30mins+. Mind your own business people and save everyone the headaches.

Agreed. If u try this in an enclosed private space then nobody would care for even a bit. If u do this on the road beside me, then sorry it is my business to put you away before u potentially hurt me.

yeah, life sucks when we don't get what we want, but we get over it, we try not to bend everyones ear whining about it and we move on.
dispite the entertainment value you are providing us, maybe you should consider a therapist or at the very least different forum that can help you deal with your issue.

My turn to vent a bit. I have been reading this thread for a couple of days now and if I have missed a post or two my apologies.

I have absolutely no problem with anyone doing whatever they want on a motorcycle up to and including killing themselves horribly. The only caveat is they do it in a manner that does no harm to anyone else or places anyone else in risk. To play silly bugger on a public road in traffic is irresponsible at best. Even if you don't kill anyone, yourself included, everyone that saw you has the impression motorcyclists are a danger to themselves and others and "something will have to be done!". Don't believe me, take a gander at the bans on pit bulls and other "dangerous" dogs in Ontario. Dogs were not the problem, irresponsible owners were.

Find some place else to play.
 
depending on what they are riding........... popping a wheelie really can be accidental. I did a ducati demo days and tested a 848.... first time accelerating i popped one without knowing it.... lol
