I prefer to put more credence on writings that are not written from extreme or blind ideological positions.

What is your motivation in trying to discredit an entire religion and by extension those who follow it?

It's quite a convenient position you attempt to debate from. Why don't you provide credible balanced information/sources to refute the commentaries and writings that I provide rather than simply attacking the messenger and avoiding the topic at hand?

How am I discrediting them? And why are you avoiding responding with information that doesn't have the taint you claim mine do?

It would seem to me that if the information and events that I'm reporting are true, then they are doing a fine job of that themselves..... ;)

Oh come on...that's like the headline "The Village People assaulted in small town in Afghanistan ahead of groundbreaking concert". If you do really want to paint an entire religion with the same brush at least choose better articles. I'm an atheist but there's countries that I might travel to where I would keep that fact extremely private, mostly ones with a history of intolerance.

Not surprised at all. Of course the reason why I'm not surprised is different from what you believe of course.

Clear evidence is that it's muslims in this muslim country (uneducated or otherwise) that have not only uttered death threats because of these bloggers (plural) criticism of Islam, but have also carried out those death threats on said bloggers (plural).
 
What I'm trying to say is that when something like the Charlie Hebdo attacks take place in Paris the world is absolutely rightly shocked as events like that are so rare in an educated society, if the Charlie Hebdo attacks had taken place in Pakistan it might have made page three of the news. Yes muslim extremists are vile idiots, unfortunately there's a higher density of them in certain parts of the world. There's also a higher density of christians that would like to see gays killed in parts of the US or of Jews that would like to see Palestinians dead in parts of Israel. So, what's your point? Extremists are bad? Yeah...that's a given.

I think the point here is that Islam isn't exactly the moderate, peace loving religion that certain factions are trying to make us believe. The evidence supporting this claim is the radically disproportionate number of real and recent horrific actions of Islamists published around the world for all to see, some of which are documented right here in this thread.

PS, Muslims, not Christians or anybody else for that matter, actually threw that poor gay chap off the building and filmed it for all to see......
PPS, The Israel conflict is entirely different issue. But let's not go off on a tangent in this thread about that......

So, after all the Muslim threads gone before and on page 9 of this one we're still reminding each other that Islam isn't exactly the moderate, peace loving religion that certain factions make us believe. It's always nice to reiterate the ground rules I guess.

A whole lot of American doctors and clinic staff have been shot, bombed, kidnapped, assaulted, or threatened by Christian terrorists in the US for violating what fundamentalist Christians see as being God's law.

Nutbars can be found in any religious group justifying their acts with religious dogma, just as nutbars can be found in any religion using hyperbole and distortion to justify their hatred of of other religions.

There are a ton of Muslims in the Caribbean as well as a ton of Black Muslims in the US and I am 99.9% sure that none of them are even close to doing all theses extreme chit or agree with it


So educate yourself you ignorant fack.
