Ninja is carb, old school tech. I highly recommend against carb motors unless you want nothing but problems. Get Fuel inject. Ninja 300, cbr 250/300 or the gt250/r
OK, that's just wrong. Now I'm left to question the rest of your facpinions.

Quick all those who still have a TERIBLE carbed bike dump that POS today the "authority on bikes " has spoken..lol
Also please enkighten us as to your "R&D" on this every bike I rode, (before my current bike), was carbed. So that is almost 35 years of riding carbed bikes. I venture there might even be some online who have ridden Carbed bikes for 50+ years. Oh the humanity how did we ever survive?

the he dealer does stock parts, who said they didn't? Again haters loving to hate. I ordered parts from Korea through them, parts came in 1 business day. The part didn't fail, I wanted to upgrade the sprocket which they didn't have in stock.
Fyi, it's waaaay cheaper ordering parts from dealer then online, comes way faster and half the price.
brakes, chain etc I buy all my parts from gp bikes. They stock all parts for those needs.
yes I still own my gt250r. Ride it everyday. Owned it for 3 years. When I put my r6 away. It's a 2008 gt250r FI. I don't ever plan to sell it any time soon. But then again. I still have my last 3 motorcycles in my garage.
You think carbs are better then FI? Now I'm left questioning your sanity.

I've owned 7 carb bikes in the past. Nothing but headaches.
Not hating Bro I was just inquiring. Saying parts are cheap from Korea and arrive quickly would logically lead someone to believe, the parts aren't available at the local dealer. After all I don't normally order my parts direct from Japan. I go to my local dealer who HAS the parts, or gets them next day.
Again your statements don't seem to make sense.. If my local dealer doesn't have a part I don't "order parts from Korea through them" The dealer simply orders the parts for me. It is cheaper for ANY dealer to order a part direct as they get wholesale pricing over retail pricing so that isn't unique to Hyo.
I don't think anyone is saying that. But you starting saying the Ninja 250R is carbed and old school tech. Do you have have any experience with this model that you can base your judgement on? Saying all carbed bikes have issues and are equal is like saying all FI bikes are the same?
well I have had MANY more than 7 I would respectfully suggest it isn't the carbed bikes but rather owner issues. There have been MILLIONS of carbed bikes over the decades, that have seemed to run successfully for the millions of other owners.
Yes I've owned a 2001 ninja 250 and a 2008 ninja 250r.
Carbs have issues starting in cold. FI turns on no problem in sub zero temp.
I believe the general consenses is that the Ninja250R is a bike for the price range than compared to a GT250R...
I've ridden my old 250R on cold days and never had issues starting it. It take a few minutes to warm up before the bike would idle consistently. But other that that no issues for me.....
Fair enough. Carbs are not crap, but FI is way better. IMO. But everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But should be based on personal experience. I have yet to see someone say they owned a gt250r and say it was junk.
