How does this Hyosung GT 250 look?

Considering you can easily pick up a 2010 Ninja 250 for $2,000 - $2,500 in good shape (out of GTA), that Hyosung is worth maybe $1,600 at best and I wouldn't buy it for that much if you are thinking of upgrading soon OP. Hyosungs lack dealer and part support, have poor reputation (whether legitimate or not that's another issue) and have no marketability, brand recognition; people think they are Chinese bikes. For those reasons, not only the resale value is very low but it's difficult to sell them period.

" new chain and sprockets, August 13 2014"

WTF would a bike with 10,000 km on it, need a new chain and sprockets, other than neglect and crappy maintenance?

Perhaps the guy did a -1/+2 sprocket and chain upgrade on it. Just sayin' wear & tear aren't the only reasons things are replaced on a bike.

Junk parts from the factory

I have a gt250r. Best 250 out. Thse people here are absolutely clueless

Best? You're delusional. Yours has been for sale since October, nearly 7 months. These things sell like hot cakes!
Why is this guy still here? Browsing his profile/posts, he spends more time name-calling and being rude to people than anything else.
Finding out your bike sucks=BUTTHURT :D

Im implying youre a loserrr...bruh. With limited knowledge. But its ok its not your fault..

You dont know anything about my bike so why do you presume to know if its **** or not. Couldve traded last year but didnt because of insurance/still want to learn.

Jokes on you clown

Well, you clearly haven't been around long enough to see the half dozen or so blown ones we've had just on here...

Now I'm not ******** on you for small cc's. I've had my Ninja 250 that's been thrashed on from the start and its just under 100k km, but those Hyosungs just suck, its a known fact. The only advantage you guys go on about is its size which is a disadvantage to any real rider...Talk to some of the guys here who actually owned one, or had one.....blow up.

You're stuffing a little 250cc engine into an oversized bulkier 600cc frame wtf do you think that's going to do for its overall performance apart from the actual engine being garbage as well??

Jokes actually on you bud...

Why when someone doesn't like what someone else rides is there so much butthurt? What is this, elementary school? There have been examples of why a lot of us wouldn't touch one of these things. If you own one are one of the lucky few who haven't had a problem then good for you. Personally I never understood the excuse of size. That just makes the motor in this thing work even harder. I hope that doesn't make me a bruh or a clown.

I don't pick on anyone for owning one. They serve a niche market. The build quality isn't what it is with the big companies. But like most things if treated gently and you get a season or two out of it without major problems then your ahead of the game.

Their marketing is spot on for the market they serve, (Typically people just getting into riding who have no idea as to the quality issues etc). They just see a bike which is marketed as being small cc but with a "larger bike feel". They then compare prices to the other brands 250/300's and think well I am not paying that much for a new bike that I am likely not keeping long. Plus I can get a new bike for what others are asking for 5 - 8 year old used bikes from the other brands.

Unfortunately, many learn quickly that it has it's limitations but at that point it is too late. Then they try to sell a 1 - 8 year old bike for close to what others are selling the other brands for.

For the member who gets upset when others tell him his is overpriced. Why get defensive MOST of them have a ton more riding experience than you, and know th market better. If they say it is overpriced it may very well be. BUT why get defensive and call them names? They are giving you their OPINION.they aren't DEMANDING you sell your bike for a set price. If you feel it will sell then eave the price where it is if it sells, then it sells, if it doesn't then that indicates it is over priced.

A good indication of correct pricing is that the bike sell quickly. the indication of being over priced is the bike sits online for a long period. There are other bikes the same as yours piced lower and some priced higher. Just let it be and be at peace Bruh.

I saw one up close once with an older dude at the helm. I thought it looked kind of neat but was vaguely aware of the build quality issues from this very forum. When I complimented the rider on his cool ride he was extremely measured in his responses.

So from the responses from the majority of you it looks like I'll be sticking with the known names. I guess I fell into the trap of bigger frame but it all makes sense now. Thanks for all the responses!

For real??? I thought it wasn't about what u ride the fact that you ride period dude enjoy ur bike ride the **** out of it enjoy life fack these lose ass speaking morons end of story
