I've done it to someone on a small cruiser before when a red light turned green and I started a bit sooner than him. Sorry, whoever it was!
Left lane is for passing. Were you?
This always bothers me. Yes the left lane is the "passing lane", it's not the "be an ******* lane." (******* being the guy going 150+)
Also tons of people drive in the far left lane, not just to pass in.
id be ****** for sure...****ing hooligan
2 weekens ago, DVP southbound Saturday 5pm full traffic, about 20 riders on sport bikes riding down between the cars and using the shoulders.
one minute im checking my 6 and the next milisecond they fly by almost touching me @ about 80kph in stand still traffic.
and yes, they were wearing tank tops and icon vests or back armour...as you assumed.
A couple of weeks ago a sport bike passed me in my lane..... When I was driving my cage...... On the DVP near York mills. And to clarify I was in the right lane doing 75 in dense nearly bumper to bumper; stop and go traffic at 830 pm traffic believe on a Thursday.... Gee l&l????? Then 2 other sport bikes then cut me off.......
my window tints obscured my anger
He was doing you a favor. By lane splitting and bypassing all the traffic the rider was doing their duty to relieve congestion.
Not right for a bike to do ,so should show same respect to cagers, but likely most will pass if safe enough room...I find would be annoyed
if a super loud biker whizzes a few inches from my car also... and is it even legal to split lanes ?
Your not going to last long here with that attitude. Bikes are special, and therefore should be able to ride where ever they fit laws be damned. It's hot sitting out in the sun inching through traffic. Traffic is for regular people not special people like us.
Or course it's not legal and it's a complete doosh bag way of riding but im on a SS yo! holllllllllllllllla!!
I had like 6 cyclists pass me in my lane while I was trying to make a right turn off Bloor the other day. So annoying. Don't they realize passing a turning vehicle on the right is a great way to get run over?
Just ignorant, they thought you being in the left tire track (presumably?) meant you were giving them room, maybe.
Or maybe they were just *****.
