how angry would it make you if other rider passed you in your own lane?

I had a ******* on a blue Katana pull up beside me on a red light at royal York and bloor a few days ago. Gave me a nod, then decided he's more important than everyone and cut me off going straight south on Royal York. Lane ends so he needed to cut me off and the car beside me.

****** me off but in the end a ********* is a ********* whether on 4 wheels or 2....

People will go at whatever speed they want, no matter which lane. I've been in the far right lane going 110 or so and had people going 120+ and going around me. When they had the middle and left lane to speed in instead.
Jerkoffs will find anywhere and anytime to be jerkoffs.

I've been in the "passing lane" doing a long trip and doing 130 and had people flying up on me at 140+. I hear so many people talk about the speeds etc, what it really comes down to, is what speeds you start getting those big fines and lovely penalties, they start at 20km over posted speed limit and increase as you go ever 10km over that.

If you had a GoPro, you could've forwarded information to police so they do something about this ******.

This happened to me on my way to Dover. I was pulling 100-110km, and some ******* decided to roll up next to me in my lane. It's cool if I wave you along but if I had to change tire tracks for what ever reason, well enough said. The good thing about motorcycles, it's easy to clearly give someone the finger.

This always bothers me. Yes the left lane is the "passing lane", it's not the "be an ******* lane." (******* being the guy going 150+)
Also tons of people drive in the far left lane, not just to pass in.

Which is the main problem with our highways in Ontario.

A sportbike passed me today in my lane, bit annoyed but what can you do, he was with 4 other mixed riders so guess he thought was ok... 5 against 1 no way it's his way..

id be ****** for sure...****ing hooligan

2 weekens ago, DVP southbound Saturday 5pm full traffic, about 20 riders on sport bikes riding down between the cars and using the shoulders.

one minute im checking my 6 and the next milisecond they fly by almost touching me @ about 80kph in stand still traffic.

and yes, they were wearing tank tops and icon vests or back armour...as you assumed.

This. This right here happened to me last Saturday on the 401 near West of Keele. I had my GF on the back so I was driving conservatively and as usual, always checking my six. Then outta no where, dude in a green Ninja 1000 races by me cutting through my lane! All lane splitting and driving over aggressively when traffic was flowing 120km/h. Not cool.

I caught it on my gopro too...unnecessary aggressive and dangerous riding makes people/the public hate us.

They were not aggressive and dangerous, they were and I quote someone who replied to me in another thread "spirited riders". Remember, if you put a nicer general word to negative things. It makes it o.k.

He was doing you a favor. By lane splitting and bypassing all the traffic the rider was doing their duty to relieve congestion.

Not right for a bike to do ,so should show same respect to cagers, but likely most will pass if safe enough room...I find would be annoyed
if a super loud biker whizzes a few inches from my car also... and is it even legal to split lanes ?

Your not going to last long here with that attitude. Bikes are special, and therefore should be able to ride where ever they fit laws be damned. It's hot sitting out in the sun inching through traffic. Traffic is for regular people not special people like us.

Or course it's not legal and it's a complete doosh bag way of riding but im on a SS yo! holllllllllllllllla!!

a friend of a friend of mine rides a SS, hes a great guy. he doenst feel special when he rides his bike....... he just likes breaking the rules a bit and riding fast, but he tries his best to do it without affecting others on the road like passing them too close / cutting them off.....and when he's in traffic, he does like to get around it by bending the rules a bit. but he isnt a d-bag. i promise....

anti-holllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllla!!!

I had like 6 cyclists pass me in my lane while I was trying to make a right turn off Bloor the other day. So annoying. Don't they realize passing a turning vehicle on the right is a great way to get run over?

Just ignorant, they thought you being in the left tire track (presumably?) meant you were giving them room, maybe.

Or maybe they were just *****.

Assume all cagers also are ***** and double ***** if they drive a Suv Caddy,Lexus, BMw, Hummer, you can add to list lots to choose..and triple ***** to the sub compacts that
tailgate a rider, and speciall mention to the young village idiots in training texting and driving slightly over par of crackheads.
