Hotter than hell out there

Don't use colognes. People are allergic and all it does is add a second source of odour. The first one is still there. Just have some clean clothes in a bag and wash your underarms if necessary with soap and water and you will be fine.

The heat over the last week or two has go me thinking about getting one of the Icon Stryker Field Armour suits or maybe the Nexo Body Armour. It seems like it would be a bit better than my textile jacket. Anyone have experience?

There is great impact resistance here but not sure what it would do for any abrasion resistance. I could just strap on my vest and elbow guards over one of my moisture wicking mock turtle neck and be similar. I don't though.

I think you would be better off with a mesh jacket. This is mine but there are lots of good options out there.

It regularly feels like 45+ all the time where i am right now...

Love this beauty weather... Hope it keeps up for a long long time!

Supposedly rubbing alcohol works well as a natural antiperspirant/deodorant. The alcohol kills the bacteria (that causes the odour) and helps moisture to evaporate, keeping your skin dry so you don't get sweat stains. I've got some hippy friends who make their own "all natural" deodorant, and it's mostly just rubbing alcohol.

31 here today.. website says "Feels like 42"

I am dying here with no AC, I really hope we get some thunder storms this afternoon..

I just realized the reason I won't squid...I haven't got shorty gloves at the moment. I've been wearing my perforated leather jacket, gauntlets and Resurgance jeans the whole time. I just got the jeans and they're hot as **** compared to my Teknic's however they're a lot thicker with more padding; I'll be loving them in the cooler weather.

I always wear a minimum of riding boots/shoes, jeans and gloves...I must have gloves otherwise it just feels weird. I also think riding squid with gauntlets looks stupid so I wear my jacket as well. I'll just switch over to my mesh one for more comfort, other than that I'm fine...hot or cold I try to ride March to Decemeber so f*** the temperature.

it is hot this week and i rode to work everyday so far, only an issue if i ride at lunch i'll come back a little sweaty but besides the dress pants i wear my jacket boots and gloves all the time.

Lived in different parts of the world like Singapore, Thailand, DR where temperatures like today are normal everyday and rode scooters and motorcycles on a daily basis in shorts and t-shirt. If you're concerned with your safety don't ride, if you do, get some knee and elbow pads. Simple.

So who made cottage cheese in their leather jacket?

Kinda got scared today. My temperature gauge rose up to the mark before H cause I was stuck in traffic on highway 7 at noon.

They probably can't afford protection in those parts of the world. Same here. Plenty of noobs with shiny new gixxers, but they ride with cheapest helmet and a hoody.

Mesh is as cool as squiding.

I hear that. All black bike is a no in this kinda weather. I've burned myself pretty bad on the tank before

I'm going to ride my gixxxxxxer in shorts and flip flops just to help the stereotype. I'll match the cool kids I just saw on the cbr, ninja and triumph. The every squid rides a gsxr thing is old now
