Or leftover paint the bodyshop had from doing someones car.

Anyone know if the squidskin ram air tubes are molded from oem or are they actually designed to flow better?

That's labour only, paint is extra... Cost me $130 for the Honda red and black paint.
Tail, tank, upper and front fender in red and the lower in black.

Petitt Easypoxy.
It's fibreglass specific paint for boat hulls, kayaks, canoes, and windsurfers.
1 $55 can will do 2 sets of fairings.
Any boat shop can get it for you.
No hardners or reducers needed.
Roll on with paint roller, the very lightly "tip" it with a brush by dragging the brush across the rolled on paint. The brush pops the bubbles and lays the paint down. Give it a few minutes and the paint lays flat.

RobVN, I apologize for massacring your picture, but you've got the same bike and the bodywork lines in your picture are very clear, so I used it as a ginny pig to experiment with possible paint-jobs. Please let me know if you want me to take it down.

So, I don't want to repaint the tank for now, and it being silver, I'm left with very limited choices.. I decided to go the Tremclad painting route, which has a limited set of colors, luckily silver is one of them---I know, because I painted the fence around the pool this summer with that (it's another question how much it will match the tank color, it's hard to tell). Here's what I quickly sketched in photoshop. My sense of aesthetics and harmony of colors obviously sucks, but I really don't know what colors to go with and keep the silver tank at the same time. And I like blue. What do you think?

This Petitt Easypoxy, does it come in different colors, can they mix it?
 
Looks cool Corsara. Great way to trial different paint schemes. Just go on e-bay and get yourself a sticker kit and you're a racer. Stickers actually make the bike faster ya know. Lol.;)
 
It's available in a few colours. Red, blue, white, green, yellow, black. I dunno if it can be tinted or not, but a boat shop won't tint it for you. maybe a custom paint shop would, but you'd probably need to be sure about the compatability of the Easypoxy and the tints, chemically speaking. I have some white that I am using to repair my trashed R6.

Well, we like to joke, but there could be some truth to it too. Think about it---part of being a racer is the fact that you feel like racing, so I can definitely see stickers making you go faster. I remember a childhood memory when I put stickers and color tape all over my mountain bike, then I was twice as crazy and violent at those trails and hills, lol

They really did, there are some dust particles here and there, but it doesn't really bother me...
I'm really happy with the finish.
