Only if you have just one bike you need to clothe. if you have two or want a back up its not even closeThis is a better deal.
It's a superior product made locally with local support, no shipping/duty so it's more money but a much better deal!Only if you have just one bike you need to clothe. if you have two or want a back up its not even close
Make it two sets for 725 and match there deal an Im on it. One set doesn't isnt enough for two bikes

Why would I be paying shipping and gas to get it?? plus I would have to drive to get the other stuff too. so if you wan to use your numbers then make it 800 like kellen said to match the price.

I bought a set from James a few years ago and have been very happy with them. Oh and I have an 04 gsxr1000 also.
Love it!
This reminds me that now I have to think about painting the stuff. It's for track, so an awesome paintjob is not in my goals. Main importance is that the fairings are durable. Can anyone pitch in on what preparation I need to do to the Squidskins fairings before bombing them with the rattlecan? Thinking about ordering some spray cans from Colorrite.com, then hanging the fairings from the floor and applying multiple coatings. Since I've never painted before, do I need to prime or grind or whatever, I'm clueless. All I want to achieve is a one color paint, then I can put a couple of stickers maybe..
if you're planning on spray bombing it, look into painting with a foam brush. much cheaper and can do just as good a job if you do it right.
I'll tell you this based on experience...
If you're going to spray bomb it, don't plan on changing the colour or repainting it.
My track bike came with bombed fairings and it was a major pain to sand it down and get rid of the old paint.
Even after the guy painted them with automotive paint, the spray can stuff reacted with the new paint and he had to re-do some of it.
Personally, I would spend 200-250 at a shop and have them painted professionally.
I would of paid $300 if they were primed and ready to go, I ended up paying $500 because of all the labour involved of sanding down the fairings etc.
You're not saving much if you were to spray paint them.
Corsara there was a whole thread on rattle can paint that might be worth reading through;
