Thats a great deal actually. Just sux shipping to canada is $90 and then hst and duties crank the price even higher.
 
You might want to look up some reviews concerning the fitment quality of that particular brand.

Their windscreens are bad enough lol... but at that price/deal, can't really complain *shrug*

its funny you say that.
on the hotbodies site they brag about winning a canadian championship.
but the fact is the championship they think they won the bike had sharkskinz bodywork on it. why you ask? because the fit was so bad the team would sell the free stuff and buy sharskinz stuff. at the end of the day what do you expect from made in mexico crap.
an add the hotbodies had was they were the first to put colured gel coat (so you dont have to paint it) in their bodywork.
well i called them and told them that bodydouble was doing that 20 years ago and it was nothing new.
they did not seem to care.
seem like this company will take credit for other people stuff.

I just emailed hotbodies and asked about shipping to my front door in Kitchener they said $160 per set not including taxes and duty

Get it shipped to just south of the border, drive over there and pick it up. Probably save over $100 in shipping, not to mention that this way you'll only pay 13% on the purchase price.
 
Despite the warnings about poor fitment, etc, I feel like this could be a very good deal. I'll be more than willing to drive down to the border to pick them up, and pay the 13% at the border. Unfortunately, it seems that the deal is about buy 1, get 1 free from the same kind, not for another bike, and I don't really know other people with an 03-04 gsxr 1000 who might need race fairings. PLEASE, if you know somebody, direct them to me, I'll do all the legwork---ordering, driving down and picking them up. Alternatively, maybe I can still get the two sets and who knows, either sell the other set or use it in the long run after irreparable damages from crushing...hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
 
just emailed to see how much to ship to buffalo. FWIW SBTG sells the kits for $499 picked up there as opposed to $649+shipping from hotbodies. Shipped here for $649 + $320 shipping for 2 sets from hotbodies...all you save is a tank of gas. Hopefully this isn't just a "deal"
 
So, I just called and confirmed, it is indeed Buy 1 Get 1 Identical set for free. Also, shipping to CBI in Niagara, USA is 60 per set, so here's the price:

$650 * 1.13 + 2 x $60 = $854, not including the gas. Suddenly it's less of a good deal, but it's still not that bad... If I could find somebody who needs an 03-04 gsxr 1000 bodywork, they can have it for $400, I'll pay the other $454 + gas myself.

Just go on a visit to the US for two days and bring some back with you. You're allowed up to $800 now after 2 days, isn't it?
