Home security systems

Im thinking remington, either way its only got an 18nch barrell, thats the limit in Canada for long rifles. Anything shorter and its considered a restricted weapon.

Nope! I have a 14" Remington 870 clone (norinco HP9) that is considered non-restricted. Pretty manueuverable in close quarters :)

I had a collection of 5 1911s at one point. They're awesome guns, my personal favourite. Lots of them are very picky when it comes to ammo though, so to an inexperienced user they come off as unreliable. But once you figure out its kinks and preferences they're solid guns. Tons of people swear by them for daily carry and duty.

I can see how a range/course gun might fail... who knows what they're feeding it. Also there are about a billion companies making their own versions of 1911s to various tolerances, and another billion companies making magazines for them. Some are good, lots are trash. Gotta find the right balance.

Reminds me of that movie "Good, bad and the ugly" where "ugly" went into the gun shop for a gun. He took apart all the guns for parts to make the right gun :D

We did some shopping around called Alarm Force, ADT and some other company. Alarm Force was the cheapest for their monthly rates, installs were average. ADT and the other company were quite high across the board.
