Don't you worry. Sounds like this guy just won a big lottery. Just wait for the law suits against the school board, police, etc etc.

It didn't appear he had one, so that wouldn't make any difference.

The point is that a kid drawing a picture of her daddy with a gun shooting bad guys protecting her is no where close to a reasonable suspicion that she is in any danger at home. period.

unfortunately, he has no recourse actually worth pursuing, unlike what Viperz thinks.

I think the cops are actually the misinformed ones. I would ask her to draw a picture of her teacher with a gun, because that was where the common sense failed... at the school.

IF you read it I believe the cops simply got a report that a child had access to a gun.
 
Lacking in judgmental skills.

These are the same people teaching our young children.

Teachers should be role models to kids.
 
I can't believe it. I too would have been tazed, then raped in jail. I'm too cute for prison. Total BS.

Yeah they failed at every level, massively and extremely. The teacher, the FCS, the cops. They should all get drawn with a gun! Ha ha, that would show 'em.

If you don't hear from me tomorrow it's because I got detained for suggesting to draw an officer with a gun, and the our police state won't tolerate that.

Just nuts.
 
This country is just run by losers at almost every level. This is what we get for promoting people that kiss ***, have no convictions and aren't " too scary"
 
They clearly did not follow procedures. First off when arresting someone you must tell them what they are under arrest for. They had no grounds to strip search him a weapons check and check for any means of escape would have sufficed, last time I checked a good spot to hide your gun is not your *** crack. Maybe a good spot for drugs but certainly not a fire arm... He should sue hard.
 
Who should he sue exactly?

This horrible injustice will go unpunished, as usual. He has no recourse, and nobody is accountable.
 
Teachers call CAS all the time for no reasons. I found myself in court with CAS because my son had a 1 cavity. I've had to deal with them 7 times in the 4 yrs I've had custody of my kids, most time was initiated by the school. I proved to CAS that they were making stuff up, and I was told, there's nothing they can do, if they are called they had to investigate. Every time I was told that the calls weren't warranted and the files closed. The only way I got them to stop was by calling the school trustee, and he looked in to it for me, suddenly the calls stopped.
