I completely agree that there is truth to the comment, but it just goes to show you how people view anothers property. my wifes work had an underground parking lot, her car was dinged so many times it was rediiculous

And this is why I love my Honda Element with the plastic unpainted fenders and bumpers.

Minor bumps while parallel parking are to be expected in downtown, happens all the time. As long as there's no major damage, no one considers them hit and runs.

I wouldn't expect that at all.

People who scratch or dent other people's cars need to own up to their mistakes; simple as that. If they can't afford to fix their mistake, then that person should learn to drive better or stop driving. I was happy to help out when I did and would hope (but not count on) someone would do the same for me.
