A friend of mine's brother was sideswipped/cut off on Sunday May26 @ 6pm- Corner of Jane and Rutherford. They are looking for a Female driving a white Ford Focus who probably went shopping at Vaughan Mills. She fled the scene and no one was able to get her plate. I know it's a long shot but let me know if you witnessed.

Some guy filmed right after he went down. He is not seriously hurt.

Wonderful to see all of the good Samaritans drive by instead of stopping to help!

Oh how I hate riding around Woodbridge.... I'm sure someone saw the incident and had the chance to get the woman's plate # but they're too busy with their own lives to bother. Theres no way no one had the chance to jot down the plate at such a busy intersection.

2/4 of the accidents I tried helped out in "had no witnesses" at busy intersections in the middle of the day - I highly doubt that.

One accident I witnessed that happened right beside me happened 1 light north of Dufferin & Steeles at 5PM with a **** load of traffic. I was 18 at the time surrounded by traffic, kid crying and bleeding from his face (glass cuts) in the back seat of a mazda protege after getting rear ended hard by a BMW X5. I wondered to myself how and why the f I was the only one that stayed to help with the amount of people around me. I was actually ON MY WAY to work...

People around here suck - just hope that if something happens, you get a good Samaritan to help you out.

I did have a couple people asking if I was okay when I fell and one guy park off to the side and run towards me to try and help me out but I was already up and had my bike up by the time he got to me. (Hwy 7 and Interchange).

As for the OP, good luck on finding someone that can contribute to your situation.

Welcome to Toronto.

Totaled a car in Guelph. No one driving stopped or came to help. The people that did show up after about 5 minutes were random pedestrians from the nearby Tim Hortons.

Vaughan Land of me first. Also known as Number 1's Cause everybody thinks they are number 1.

I had a guy make a left in front me, I slam the brakes to avoid hitting him and look up to see him, giving ME the finger....Wait Wut?!

Lol, I thought Vaughn was "The city above Toronto".

With their attitude "the City above everyone" LOL

It's a Jersey thing.

@OP if there's a police investigation make sure they contact Vaughan Mills Security...I used to work there and the cameras cover EVERYWHERE. It's very likely if she was exiting the mall she's on HD camera.

Jane and Rutherford you say?

That intersection has 4 cameras pointed in to the middle of the intersection. I don't know why, but it's only that intersection that has 4 cameras.

You can see one of the cameras in the video.. it's in the middle.. really high up between the two lights.

Back in early April, some lady in her cage who was travelling in the left lane decided to make a last minute right turn at an intersection while I was two car lengths behind travelling in the right lane. She signalled after she had already initiated the turn. Her car was pretty much perpendicular to me and had blocked off all my escape routes so I had no choice but to lock up my brakes and slide right into her.

The impact threw me off my bike and sent me sliding and rolling through the intersection. As I was dusting myself off and getting up I see her about to make a getaway. I tried to run after her but my calf muscle was slightly sprained. Luckily there was a Good Samaritan nearby who quickly pulled her car up and blocked her off from leaving. She ended up being my witness for the police report. I had other people who saw it go down telling me that the lady was on her cell phone the entire time.

Somewhat restored my faith in humanity:)

Vaughan, Scarborough, Brampton, Mississauga, I just clump all that into Toronto; it's all the same "I have no time for anything but myself" mentality.
