Swing Batter Batter Bar - Any one not taking their shot, or nursing their beer is to be heckled with "swing batter batter!"

Umpire College - The way some ump's call balls/strikes they must be drunk. When you enter the bar, you're starting in the beer leagues, by the time you're drunk you've progressed to the majors.

Flagrant Water Foul - Flagrant foul from basketball. Going to the bar might be considered a flagrant foul. New invented slang, flagrant water = alcohol. And you get the biggest stuffed Goose you can find, when someone drunkenly asks why the bird is here, you tell them "flagrant water fowl'!

I was going to suggest Bar Hodgson but that's the stupidest idea bar none.

By-pass Sports and simply go for something like, "The Gym"

That way you tell the wife you're going to the gym and then head downstairs and have yourself a liquid workout.

The bar?

If I called my bar in my rec room anything other than that, I'd have to go out to the garage and name my screwdrivers, too.

Late Break (or Brake depending on which side of irony you want to be on)-- Works for many sports and life in general

(insert wife's name) childcare centre ;)

How about the "Bleachers".
Term is used throughout minor kids' leagues all the way up.

Or, since you mentioned the "Penalty Box", and the fact that alcohol will be available, my final suggestion is "The Sin Bin".

My GF suggests "The Dog Pound" or "The Dog House" simply 'cause that's where you will be half of the time anyways.
