I buy bikes & I sell bikes. If a bike isn't right for me I flip it. I don't always put it in my name/pay tax before selling it.

You buy/sell them for a loss? Or am I only a dealer IF I make money at it, if I lose money I am no longer a dealer? I was a dealer on THAT bike, but I don't know what I was with the other.buying and selling vehicles for profit

Iirc, there isn't an official limit they use but there are some unofficial guidelines. Something like keeping vehicles for at least 12 months and no more than three vehicles a year iirc?
I thought many of them were trade-ins? As long as you support the monopoly and pay tax, you can flip as many as you want.Uh, you just described our resident GTAM ballers...

I think there's a fair bit of tolerance built in -- if you're disclosing what you're doing and turning over the odd bike, or rolling over parts of your private collection, you're going to be OK. Start flipping cars like a day trader, or rollback an ODO from 101K to 30K (as accused by OP) -- you're in curbsider territory.I buy bikes & I sell bikes. If a bike isn't right for me I flip it. Not accused. Paul is a personal friend of mine and I've known this bike back into the early 2010s. I even have video of this bike on track from 2012 when he crashed it on turn 11 at Shannonville right in front of me. The wheels were done because of the damage (that's Paul in the one-piece yellow/white/black leathers)I think there's a fair bit of tolerance built in -- if you're disclosing what you're doing and turning over the odd bike, or rolling over parts of your private collection, you're going to be OK.
