like even lakeshore which has both street car tracks and bike lanes, the lanes go up and down at the street car stops, for that type of stuff you'd need to also resurface

The last time I was on a bicycle in toronto, a bike lane was a little paint or at best a silly speed hump thing that acted as an edge trap for bikes and cars just drove over anyway. Everyone is better off when those stupid solutions are removed from major roads.
Use to ride down the center section of Uni on weekends and hit all the features.

I doubt a person legally buying them in their own name, would be stupid enough to try smuggle them over, and if they did I'm positive Texas would be all over it just the same.
There has been cases of it.. and also of people buying them in Canada in their name legally.. and then selling them to the street.
