I agree with them anyway,
farm tractors only have brakes on the rear wheels and those work perfectly fine for the most part..

farm tractors have brakes on the rear wheels with two pedals because that's how you steer when plowing , subtle corrections pushing brake pedals. There is a steel plate you can flip over that will connect the two pedals, may be the original linked brake technology.

You think trials is a lower speed accuracy test, show up for a plowing match LOL , they spend all afternoon trying to go in a straight line.

dude you plow with the brakes on  what do you use the all wheel diff lock for?

you didnt get a diff lock until the late 80's? the brakes are steering, not pulling, you touch each wheel to gently correct the direction since the front wheels are usually tracking (one at least) in your last furrow. Or you just give 'r and left the disc sort out the mess later, but thats more time in the field which = more fuel.

Now your pulling with a 4wd unit, diff locks and a 5-7 furrow plow with a disc in tandem behind. One stop shopping. But uncle freds 20k unit is now nephew jimmies 300k setup, and he cant figure out why he cant make any money.
jimmie also bought a 425k combine with a soybean head he runs 3 wks a year but makes payments on 52 weeks a year, still cant figure out where the money went. #dumbfarmeconomics

Sounds like my Buddy farmer. $2mil in tractors and and combines, another $200k in coal rolling pickups means he has to buy his suit at Dollarama.

It's strange how farmers are always crying poor but have big trucks that spend 99% of their lives as single passenger vehicles, dozens of tractors (a couple of which do work) and yearly cross-Canada vacations. Sure, they may not have much "income" on paper buts that's because everything comes from pre-tax dollars.

Have you ever looked at the Brembo brand brakes that H-D have special made for them when they want to put Brembo on their sales pitch :/ they are not top grade Brembo's, they are low cost under performance components compared to the top shelf Brembo's that are stock on your average Italian sport bike. H-D can claim superior domestic manufacture, design and distribution,
just as soon as they start designing and making a superior bike (y)

BTW Brembo is an Italian company.

You could put a Cavalier next to a Bugatti in the quarter mile and the Cavalier would win readily if the tool at the wheel of the Bugatti has no idea what he's doing.

Here's what it looks like (over and over and over again) when the sportbike rider has been riding more than 3 days.
