I became BarbarianSam because of a havd made Haloween costume. I'll post some pic's when I get home from work. I also was called CRASH alot by some of my dirt buddies, but I didn't think anyone would ride with me if I used it.:D

Anyways, my name amp3d is a snowboarding term. Kinda like STOKED. Amped is also an snowboarding xbox game that I used to play cause I love snowboarding.

Kinda lame but eh it works :)

alot of people think mine comes from me being middle eastern lol
but not true
up to 2 years ago well sometimes even now (jk)
there was important pieces falling off my bike ie: engine bolt, clutch! etc
all the time
so the guys at the shop just started calling me this, since i always showed up with an extra part in my hand not knowing where it came from!! lol
it does apply a lit bit to riding methods also lol

I was trying to register for a hotmail account way back, when I was new to the whole email and internet thing, I couldn't come up with an original name. Want use just ABCD, but that was taken. LMNOP, was taken. Added 88 at the end for luck and fortune. Stuck with me since. Use it for almost every thing. Even my photography website is called LMNOP.

This should be a sticky, so that all noobs explain there handle. I think it's kinda cool, it let's you know a little about everybody.. Just a thought.

The other name I go by is "Thorolfr" which is a viking name that means "Thors wolf" since I do medieval recreation as a hobby.

I'll play along... Bad memories run in my family, I got the genetic jackpot. I could never remember my user names or passwords for ANYTHING growing up. So I use the same one on every site. My first name, plus the first three digits of my phone number. hence, matt491. It's how I remember it.

My nickname is a better story, so I'll throw that out too. All my friends call me Booty. Way back in highschool, the coolest kid of all, (Yeah you know, the kid that all the guys wanted to be and all the girls wanted to be with? Every school had one) kinda gave it to me. My last name is Butash (Boo-tash), which got shortened to boots. This kid james thought boots was a stupid nick name so he yelled down the hallway after me one day, "Heeeeyy! Bootaaaayy!" in a Fonze-esque way. And since he was so cool and popular, it stuck.

I tell everyone it's cause I don't get any..

My parents were both born in Tanzania, a country in Africa, and were the fifth generation born there, until the government threw 'em out. I've always felt a connection, and wanted a made-up name so ridiculously African that I know nobody would have bothered signing up with it no matter WHAT site I sign up to. That, and since it's not a common word, it'd be hard to guess. That, and it sounds funny, you have to admit, and I *am* a bit of a joker

I googled it once just to see what would happen. Turns out the finance minister of Nigeria is named Livinius Nwambe. I just about crapped m'self from laughing.
