Mine comes from Japanese. A Ronin is a masterless Samurai... I used to be in the Military (in Europe) and My Unit was disbanded... therefore becoming sort of a "masterless" Soldier.

Once a Soldier, always a Soldier!

Not a very interesting story, just a nickname I picked up from some of my Jamaican friends.. it just kinda stuck.:thumbup:

well i got this from my lovely wife

she bought me custom plates a few years ago for my car making a play on my last name kerr, after testing the car and it pulled 350 on the dyno

My first name and the car in my avatar. I've spent more money on it than I care to remember. Hell, my wife only knows of about a third of the money spent on the X. It's a disease, just like the bike.

My friends started calling me gps in university.

We'd party and at some point during the party, I would decide that I wanted to go home. No matter where we were, I'd wind up safely at home, be it some random school in NY, MI, or wherever, sometimes hours after I left the party, sometimes covered in snow, whatever.

All I could do was smile and nod because I never remembered any of it...lol!

i was hooked on "need 4 speed - underground" for ps2 around the time that i joined and couldn't think of a good nickname so i just chose the damn title of the game.... damn sorry i did cuz it's a ghey name.......

was a tagger as a young teen. wrote endow, but all my friends pronounced it endo. so ive also been called, endosmoke, endonesia,endomania but usually just endo. name stuck.....play bf2/bf2142 and my gamer name is endosia, along with all forum names. so hello, im endosia but endo for short!:cool:

The most scottish name my wife and I could think of for our yet unborn child.. Kind of a joke, because Angus Beef and Argyle Socks, the kid's nick name will be ----- Beef Sock...

"Hey Beef Sock shut the door, I'm not paying to heat the outside you know" kinda stuff will be fun when he / she's older. Also part of playing on the So I Married an Axe Murderer movie.. - "Head, pants, now"

i just shortened my name from 3 syllables but gosh, i feel so boring now...maybe i should go back to the drawing board...

Gixxer4ever because I have a very small winkie and I think I can compensate for that by riding gixxers forever.

All others that have 'gixxer' in their handles should be forced to ride them forever too, and anyone moving to a different model should be immediately castrated!

...after the first love of my life.. the vroom vroom type :) 03 Galaxy Black 350z I named Blackie cos for some reason I equated her to a fast black horse named Blackie :D First forum I joined that's what I signed up as and the name stuck across boards. This way people know who I am. Just makes life simpler.

...and I like the colour Black.. :D

"regen" = rain
"meister" = master

Therefore in English I guess I'd be "rainmaster".. I'm not German though haha.

Actually it's one of the nicknames given to my favourite Formula 1 driver (now retired boohoo) because of his amazing driving skills in the rain.. if you know anything about that sport you'll probably know who I'm referring to. I just thought the name sounded cool. :)

Jeez.. I don't want to start a Senna vs Prost vs Schumacher debate on a motorcycling forum!

However I will say that Schumi is very into motorcycles.. dunno about the other two guys though. He seems to prefer Harleys and rode the Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap last year I think.
