Really? I actually don't know one way or the other, not in the market. I did out of curiosity compare values of the 993 and the 996 in Ontario and am glad to see that time has punished the heretic
Classic 911 market absolutely exploded over the last year or two. I almost bought a 74 before the boom. Now its impossible.
930 and 993 are crazy expensive. You can have a 997 or 991 easily for the money. Maybe even enough left to buy a Honda grocery getter.
I drove my buddy's 2014......it's nice to drive but I can't get over the ugly.........yeah, I know, people say the same thing about my car. Also, waayyy too many useless gadgets but maybe he just got his fully optioned out.
Has this term been used for a long time. I've listened to some roman history podcasts and learned where the term comes from and suddenly I hear/see it everywhere. Have never heard the term before like 6 months ago......maybe it's just selective hearing now that I actually know what it means...

I'm really loving my new focus for $300 month. I actually feel sorry for all these people with $60k cars who so often can't afford them. I have another car and my bike fully paid of course, but a part of me really enjoys driving something I don't care about and don't have to worry about. With the gas/insurance savings I'm even thinking about a new bike! I could care less what someone thinks when I drive up.

I don't feel sorry for those people. I laugh at the ones who think they ballin but are up to their ears in debt. I live in a town full of the Joneses. 700k or more homes, to 70k cars, huge rv. Stay at home wife with two or three kids. The odd time sure it's money. A town full is not. It's comical

Oh And don't forget about maintenance costs you're saying on too. Oil changes, brakes, even something like a fender bender is pocket change compared to other companies that charge you out the nose for essentially just the brand name
I remember reading about a Lexus LFA and how their oil change cost was an absolutely STUPID amount of money. Their oil filters are on the bottom of the car which are covered by underbody panels. What a god damn hassle.
No standard model hatch. Maybe st next time it looks awesome but would be a lot more money.

I had some spare time at work last night for a few hours and I can't for the life of me figure out from the pics what in the hell you could or want to save from that thing. There's nothing left.
I have enough friends with 60-120K+ worth of cars and they are all living below their means...so the lesson is that it takes all kinds.
