2009 Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R Monster Energy Eddition, almost BRAND NEW. Currently sitting at 2000 km and has barely been broke in. It has never been crashed, laid down, or knocked over. It has always sat in my garage and has never seen any elements. It is in new condition so there are no worries

the thief is smart, he is reading our posts. **** i dont want to die so young. guys, if something happens to me, you know who to contact and which thread to give to the cops lol

If the bike was reported stolen to the police, a VIN check should solve this pretty quickly. If the bike is legit, the owner should have no problem sending you a photocopy of the ownership or posting the last few digits of the VIN#. Simple.

Definately fishy that the kajiji post is gone now. Could be the guys bike and they just put stock stuff back on it so they can sell the aftermarket stuff seperate. That price is really low for that bike.

When you see a bike/car that sells for 10,000$ and the seller is asking 5000$ it's usually a scam. If you replied via email, you're probably gonna get one of those "I'm out of the country, the bike is in BC, I could ship it when you make the payment through paypal" replies.
Don't think it was the stolen bike.

That seems a bit absurd to me. That would mean the thief would have to have access to stock parts to replace the add ons that had be done. Seems like a lot of work to try and disguise a stolen bike that will be shown to be stolen the second the vin # is checked.

Seriously...and posting a stolen vehicle on kajiji is not absurd. I just suggested it is a posiblility not that is what it is. What is absurd is that you think that a thief would not have access to stock parts...

Also a theif would want to make the most money he/she can so why wouldn't they take after market stuff off to make more coin. Think before you post and try to insult someone.

Take it as an insult if you like, but thats not what was intended. The idea still seems absurd to me, thats my opinion, your welcome to yours, great to live in Canada eh?

And again, trying to sell a bike with a vin # that is reported stolen is a dumb move, and if the thief was really trying to make the most money possible, this seems like the quickest way to get caught. So either its not stolen, or its not a smart thief. If its not a smart thief, maybe they don't go to the lengths to keep or get stock parts to replace the aftermarket.
