GTAM Might not be a dating site, but this is...

lmao Sabex.

I know two people married off a site(not POF). They both said they had to go on rediculous amounts of dates and go through so many retards to find the people they married. Not my thing. If I meet someone I meet them, not going to loose sleep or waste my time looking.

Maybe the homosexual=more promiscuous stereotype is true. I've only met a handful actually looking for a long term thing. I have met with numerous people from dating websites/apps.

Haha, that stereotype *is* true, but only applies to men.

When you get two women together, then you basically turn into roommates. Who get a cat. :p

Good ole gtam, thread get turned into gay sex

that's how I'm living right now, just with 3 cats... but I'm straight.
All women are straight, until they're not. Amirite?

It's OK Amazon, it's only natural for you to want to make out with your female friends. Perfectly natural! It's also natural for you to let your BF watch and have him take pics for GTAM.

Doesn't every website that allows interaction between people have the potential to be a dating site? lol.

I duuuuuunnno.....sounds pretty sapphic to me!

I just don't have a big enough want/desperation for a mate to wait around and filter through hundreds of profiles. Sometimes it can takes hours, days, weeks, months, maybe even years to find someone you're compatible with; who's looking for long term.

To me, the ability to filter through hundreds of profiles was the main advantage to doing things online. Find the ones that have potential, and then meet up in person (if there is mutual interest) as soon as possible. It's hard to meet 'dateable' people on a day to day basis (even for straight people) especially when you are working full time.

And yes, it can take a long time to meet someone you're compatible with, but that's true regardless of whether you do it online or in person. Before my boyfriend and I met, we had probably collectively dated over a hundred different people over the course of a year before we met (not counting hookups ;)). We've been together for 6 years now, moved to California together, and are about to buy property together.
