GTAM at TMP Weekend! July 20/21 2013

I'd like to if they would answer their phones....

My phone isn't ringing...LOL

Green and Yellow are filling up quickly. There is still space though.

(For Saturday, if you mean for Sunday, you will have to contact TMP)

I wish I'd be doing it with gta. Seems more organized.. I've been calling tmp all day and noone is answering :|

Tmp never answers my calls. I even got hanged up on. Also they only email once a day, usually mornings. Oh well.

Yeah I'm getting pretty ticked off.. I don't want to prep my bike and then have no spots in yellow or green and then have to pay at the gate..

Just register online and they will email you in a couple of days if you're confirmed or not. You missed the preregistration deadline tho and will have to pay full price.

Yeah I did that just now, so we will see. I thought it was today but that is with gta I guess. TMP needs to get their **** together, or I do, one or the other

Given that you've never been to the track before (or any other track for that matter), I wonder why you'd even consider going in yellow. You'll be a hazard to yourself and the others. Not trying to be mean or anything, but it's really nasty tripping over people and literally riding without hands on the handlebars for laps at a time because somebody is in the wrong group, parks in the infield and guns it in the straight. And god forbid the speed differential between you and other bikes that are just catching up with you... it's just very dangerous.

Maybe he's a fast street rider who thinks he can hang with the fast guys?

Been there, done (or thought) that ;) Not saying it's not possible, I've seen it, but just once---Ramon here on GTAM, doing 1:22 on his first trackday last summer (which in my books should be on the faster side of Yellow). But as I understand that happens very rarely. But what I've seen on more than one occasion is people riding in yellow and doing 1:40+ laps, which is....not right.

I think he was just referring to Tomc's reply about the yellow group.

Oh, my apologies then. But like I said, I wasn't trying to offend him or anything, just shared some more perspective on the matter.

I wasn't considering it at all.
