GSX R 600 - TD's laugahble quote

It doesn't matter who's name it is under, Insurance goes by the highest risk in the house with a license for that vehicle (Unless you sign a waiver saying you won't drive it)....
Wrong... On my dads bike he had me listed as a second rider and there was no difference to insurance weather I was or not on the insurance. (with TD)

How do you as a new rider, not affect the rate on that bike? Like others have said if you are on the insurance for you dad's bike as a secondary rider the insurance is based on the higher risk rider.

However, here is something else I have learned about insurance all these years. Agents screw up all the time. Sometimes to the point when I wonder if they they know what the hell the are insuring . I wouldn't give the kid any flack, rather his insurance company/broker. Like many of you said if the unthinkible happens the kid here will find out real quick about how insurance company's work. Lets hope that never happens .

The funny thing is, the type of fraud he is committing does not cost insurers a dime...

When the claim is filed and they realize he was not supposed to be the one covered, they wont pay out. So the company got money to cover the bike, they don't have to pay out because someone else was riding, and then insurance companies go ahead and say they are "losing money from all the fraud happening" (while still turning record profits) so they have to increase rates.

You should be mad at the insurance companies, because they are the ones making you pay, not this "afgunz" kid.

This is completely false, it costs a lot of money to deny claims, espeically big ones, because it will come with a crap load of litigation costs.

You guys are all getting bent out of shape a little bit. It's not what you know, or have a hunch on its what you can prove.
If it was done legit and they stick to their stories nothing will happen.
The dumbest thing this kid has done was post it on the internet. I suspect he brags to his "friends" as well, and that's what will probably bite him in the *** if he ever needs to make a claim.

I know people who have done something similar but you keep it quiet. It's between you and the other person. That is it. If anyone asks its your dads bike and once in a while you borrow it. But try explaining that to a 18 year old
