Misrepresentation to an insurance company can be considered fraud, Insurance is based on the highest risk driver on the policy (You), which means even if your dad had a bike and you didn't but had your license, His insurance would be based on yours (If you live at home) unless you sign a waiver saying you will not ride the bike in which case his insurance would be based on him.
Just because you know someone that can lie while writing your policy doesn't make it legal..... When it comes down to it if they find out during a claim or any other way do you really think your dad's buddy is going to say that he was the one that lied? I can guarentee you who will be going under the bus and you and your dad will have fun getting insurance for the next 5-10 years with insurance fraud on your records.
