What an absolutely amazing track!!! After my first session I almost went home, the little hills before the corners were freaking me out, I couldn't figure out the triple apex right hander, the hairpin left wasn't cooperating with my new quick turn throttle (too much slack), etc. I figured I'll give it one more session. Second session was much better, smoother lines, almost got the triple apex figured out, and was passing 10 bikes at a time (super fun).
I got pulled over by the novice police and got kicked out and moved to intermediate. Much faster guys in that group, and more aggressive passing allowed so that was good (only pass on the outside in novice? SCREW THAT!). It was so so so much fun on a liter bike, so many flowing corners, double/triple apexes, you can just smash the throttle wide open and ride it out. New Q3's didn't let me down all day, could never get them to slide, just smash the throttle and pick the front tire up at any lean angle. I ran 31f 26r (cold). Rear is a 200/50 because I got shipped the wrong tire, seemed to work fine though.
A huge thanks goes out to GP bikes. Flawlessly run track day, BBQ at lunch was super tasty. Two ambulances on site, very very few red flags, not as many crashes as I was expecting. Sessions were run great. Instructor riders were good too (except when they are giving me crap! lol

).
I was starting to get tired and make mistakes around 3:30pm, a few spits of rain on my visor, then my bike started making this loud squeaking noise! I pulled into the pits, lucky not more damage done, could have been bad!
Thanks again GP bikes!!! I'll pre-signup for all your other Mosport RDT days, this track is amazing.
