I had 20mns of 1080p 30fps, another 20 of 720p at 60fps, 10 960 at 48fps and another 15 1080 30fps.

I haven't done a full test like that, good point. You can definitely run more video than the battery can handle.

What's this "pro tune"? I googled it but it sounds like it's some sort of raw mode or ability to update firmware colour/balance/recording abilities? I Haven't played with it. Or know how to turn it 'on' if it isn't already.

ProTune is a recording mode that ups the bit rate to something like 35 Mbit/s which I believe is broadcast industry standard for HD. It also uses a more neutral colour profile intended to be tweaked in post. Not sure if it increases the stops as well. It can be enabled under the settings menu on the camera.
I think for most users it's better to keep ProTune off as the colour looks somewhat dull when viewed as-is.

Cool, I'll try that out. The cineform software is great and simple to use. Best part is being able to cut pieces out in small chunks and do editing on each chunk rather than an hour long file. Great software for beginners and usable for those with more experience.

I have Power Director for more detailed editing, but Cineform is too easy to use :p
