I have no issue with her setting herself up for a Liberal run.
However...she got this ball rolling of the Peel Region split...and now may leave just as it's started to have someone else deal with the mess SHE created.

Well Bonnie put her hat in the ring for the Liberal leadership...as she maintains her job as mayor and will be working toward the Liberal Leadership on weekends and evenings lol.
Plus my property tax came in at 6.1% increase for 2023...awesome.

They’re so intertwined that it’d be almost impossible to make a clean split.
Maybe. When you eliminate duplication of services and every lower tier municipality argues this triggers massive tax increases, there is something very wrong with the numbers. Maybe this was approached the wrong way and Brampton, caledon and mississauga need to disappear as they obviously have issues delivering the required service cost effectively.
