Glad to see the Feds have started to deal with important stuff

You're all laughing now, but just wait until Elon follows through on his plan/threat to put billboards on the Moon:
Doesnt sound illegal. Maybe ill-advised. This just extends canadian law to places where canada should not have jurisdiction. Might as well add international waters as well. That would be just as stupid but at least may apply to someone.

Haha, it wasn't intended to be a serious stance on support of the legislation. Maybe they're worried about the Russians pulling something on the ISS

Canada is in a great position to prosecute russians that commit crimes in space. :/ Politicians are useless wankers almost without exception.

Canada's military, the organization that is supposed to protect Canadians from threats of every nature, can't stop its own people from assaulting each other.

Part 2 is they want to transfer the cases to civilian courts. However the Supreme Court has declared that where a collective agreement is in place the matters should be resolved under the terms of the agreement. Isn't military service a collective agreement?

So basically let the foxes determine whether it was OK or not to raid the chicken coop.

They want to take this into outer space when they can't get their act together here on earth.

Stupidity to the power of 10.

As long as we have the leadership we have, nothing will change. Not sure the alternatives would be much better though. That seems to be an increasing problem no matter which government you're talking about.
I find your term "Leadership" amusing. He is a puppet and we don't know who's pulling the strings.

Eventually he'll be replaced by a different puppet that will dance the same steps.

I would have loved to have seen my redneck Polish aunt (RIP) as PM. The speaker's scepter would be replaced with big wooden spoon. If an MP wanted his office redecorated she would have told him it was good enough for the other guy so it's good enough for you. Then she'd smack him over the head with the spoon.

Summer recess would have the MPs planting potatoes and cabbages at one of the experimental farms so the session lunches would have lots of pirogi and cabbage rolls. It would cause a stink, especially if the digestive systems weren't used to cabbage.

Unfortunately whoever is in charge here doesn't have much control of inflation or recession. As the world goes so do we especially the USA. Prices are for the most part not set in Canada for most items.

Depending on who you ask there already is a recession, we are going into a recession, or there won’t be a recession but a ‘soft landing’.

My buddies in construction (granite) say no recession due to their backlog of orders.

Others are seeing slowdowns.

I don’t know wtf to believe anymore.
Is it not just two successive periods of negative growth, or something easy to define after the fact, like that?
