Getting old sucks...

Stole this:

I know a handful that couldn't handle life. I'm nowhere near that, but the stress is getting to me (could explain the delicious food intake).

Alright enough sharing for now.
Suicide by fork?

On a serious note, the Liberals continue their chicken little gun scare thing.

Less than one person a day is murdered by a gun.

Many of the gun homicides are drug / gang related.

Approximately four other gun deaths are suicide.

Twenty people per day die of drug overdoses.

Someone's looking in the wrong end of the binoculars.

Weird thought. I knew someone that spent months in hospital due to a head on collision caused by a person trying to commit suicide. If the guy, out to end it all, had access to a gun, Mike could have been spared the trauma.

Happy to say that my back went back to normal after a long drive up north and back on the weekend (and ample whiskey).

Arm still sore on the inner elbow...but it's much better than it was last week.

I'll restart working out more as of today with light weights...but will have to re-think my strategy of pounding out heavy sets and maybe focus on lower weights in order to build back up.

maybe do calisthenics to start

After working on my car last week, I set out on a quest for a work stool. I was using a milk crate which works ok but if I can have a basic set of sockets and tools with me at all times as well as a place to set down bolts without searching the floor, I'm all in. Ended up with one from costco for $120. It may not be the best but it seems good enough and all options had some compromises.

Good news.

This stool is now on sale in the warehouse for $89.99 and $99.99 online.

Picked up at the Guelph location today.
Looks like the sale is on till Dec 3 2023

I bought one at PA this week, went for the expandable 24-31” so I could work at the stand and bench.

All good but the casters, needs 4 position locks.

Wife stole it for her craft room, back to PA for another tomorrow.

I got out of bed the wrong way last week. My neck still hurts.

Remember the days when you where worried about getting out of the wrong bed rather than gettig out of bed wrong?

A long time ago a friend said if you could put your socks on standing up you're doing OK. I'm still OK I guess.

This weekend stacked a full chord of firewood. Sunday I felt very old...

Not me today but the wife. Woke up, fainted, and we’re now at ER waiting for blood results.

Hopefully nothing major just exhaustion.
Best Wishes for good news and a speedy recovery.
Week before xmas...

Crap,
Hopefully its nothing major. All the best

I wouldn't do any weights at all. Or just minimum like 5 pounds, just enough to give some resistance or moving something. Get those rubber band things that physo uses. Also cold or hot therapy.
