Getting old sucks...

oh I see a red flag already, not sure what your sugar intake is like, but that stuff 1000% causes inflammation. which leads to pain/tenderness.

Check your cereals and other processed foods as well, they're sneaky with the sugar.
Sneaky??? Understatement of the year.

I try to avoid white death and go with juices that at least have some trace vitamins.

When I'm tuning to NO SUGAR I read labels and the sugar BS is everywhere. We have been brainwashed into having everything sweetened to the max. Kids cereals are disgusting, donut flavoured, chocolate and marshmallow.

Anything with those levels of sugar should be labeled "Breakfast Candy"

I like a pinch of sugar on fresh berries to bring out the flavour, a quarter teaspoon on a bowlful is enough. Some people look like they're making jam.

Artificial sweeteners are worse.

I'm not expert by any means and just as guilty of all the bad things
SUGAR is a huge one. Couple of weeks ago I told myself that I would limit my sugar intake. Unfortunately it's not going well
My wife psychs herself out. When she sees a donut she pictures a tablespoon each of flour, sugar and lard. Ick.

Wow, $130! That ain't cheap.

I like the $10 I bought from another friendly GTAMer. That thing has saved me countless pains.

I should talk to my 3d printing buddies to build some storage in it for me.
I bought a used steno chair from a thrift store and threw the back away. I need to make a shelf to sit on the lower part to hold tools. $10 and it has a lift system.

The Polish war cry is "Eat, eat, eat"
That's literally all it is. Honestly I think my upbringing of 'eat everything on the plate' regardless of how full you feel...does not bode well for a healthy relationship with food.

Hell I'll eat everything even though I'm stuffed. Almost as if the commies would come and take it off my plate before I finished.

Earlier this year I tore my distal bicep tendon clean off. Apparently the most rare and serious of the possible bicep tendons to snap.

The two most common causes are weight lifter / bodybuilder running too much juice and outdoes it or.... middle aged man lifting a too heavy box.

Guess which one it was?
A year ago I gave myself one of those cat like overhead stretches first thing in the morning and ripped a muscle.
The pain was out of sight and while trying to find a comfortable position I ended up sitting next to my BP monitor and stuck it on. 191/121 but dropped after a while. OK now.

At 40 YO life changes from "If you paid for it you eat it" to "If you eat it you pay for it."

Me: "OMG. I can't believe I ate all that. I am totally stuffed."

Wife: "Would you like a piece of apple pie?"

My stomach muscles: "Say no, say no."

Me: "Sure, with ice cream"

Pie is wedge shaped for a reason.

Yep, I used to make fun of my wife and daughter for eating candy for breakfast. They've since changed their ways.

And while we're at it, get rid of the Tim's double-double, triple-triple, or even worse. Ditch the sugar, ditch the cream. Go with milk only if you have to, or just black. You'll get used to it, and it won't be missed.

Have you tried drinking tims (or most other chain coffee stores) black. Barf. You need the cream and sugar to hide the ass they sell as coffee. Starbucks reserve from the Clover is delicious black but expensive, takes most of 10 minutes to make and there are very few stores with a Clover.

You haven't scraped the bottom of the coffee urn until you've had coffee truck coffee. The only stuff I go regular to kill the taste.

I'm OK with TH or McD black but everyone decides what they consider acceptable. Find a coffee that doesn't need a sugar or dairy bailout. If you can't find one what you are looking for is a coffee flavoured hot milk shake.

Learn to like the true flavour of a coffee grown roasted and blended to your taste.

I drink my coffee black and I will say it is very hit or miss with Tim's it can either be tolerable or taste like some one put a cigarette out in it.
I tried there cappuccino and it was pretty bad as well.

But I'm at the point now that I am used to terrible coffee no matter where I get it.

So it's not just me. Usually the usual TH taste but every once in a while I wonder if they brewed it in the mop bucket.

I was really into a German brand (Tchibo) but when I ran out the next package wasn't that great. I used it up and the next was just as far off. I switched to another brand but when you sell coffee you are selling a particular flavour. Do it right.

Tchibo is a marketing company so they may have switched sources.

As for TH coffee…Large Dark Roast black…delicious!
My best results have always been with not restricting myself to any one type of food. Just managing how much and when i intake.

Start with a benchmark of say 1,600 calories and be honest with yourself, read labels, do some napkin math and if you want that cookie then smash it but that means dinner/lunch will downsize to compensate. Limiting yourself to an 8 hour eating window (12-8) is great, will stave off the late night snack attacks.
