Getting my new exhaust tomorrow

Is it supposed to be like that?
Part yes, part no :) That "bump" is in the factory bodywork too (that bodywork is aftermarket). If you look close you see two little bumps, that's where the exhaust clamps have started to melt into the bodywork (even though I have heat shielding on the inside). The bodywork manufacturer said to put a ceramic tile on the inside of the bodywork (secured with foil tape) and it will stop that! Sheesh! That's pretty major! lol.

I think both of those prices are on the high end? I put my slip-on onto my bike and it took me about 30 mins and it was my first time doing that.
Also say a shop charges $75/hr, It takes 4 hrs to put a full exhaust on? and the 1/2HP vs 1HP is highly debatable.

Either way, Glad your happy with your purchase OP.

If the four hour comment is to me, I was there getting my first service. Oil change, etc so it wasn't just the hours spent on putting the exhaust on. Also, they had said there wouldn't be much of a change performance wise between a full exhaust and a slip on but the monetary change was significant.

And yes, I'm very happy with it. :)

I read an interesting review not long ago where a dual Leo Vince was tested against a cheap danmoto exhaust on a GSXR1000. They tested them out on the track and on a dyno. There was no detected difference in performance between the two. The differences were that the danmoto cost a couple of hundred dollars and the leo vince over a grand, and the danmoto was described as being built of quality parts, but just not as "pretty" as the name brand.

post the review.

But ya, slipons don't make much more power.....it's just the sound.
Full systems are a different story.
