Gas prices going up to $1.40 at midnight

At least I've come across decent empanadas and lomo a lo pobre in the GTA.. Tough luck for pastel de choclo, though :(
 
It will be in the $1.40s for a while, so when it goes back down to $1.30s, we will think that is cheap.

They are conditioning us and doing a great job.
 
I predict 1.50 by July.
 
I don't like high fuel prices any more than the next guy, however :

PERSPECTIVE :

Who gives a **** what printer ink costs? I probably haven't used 1L of it in my entire life.

The Keg sure seems cheap when you compare it to some super classy restaurants, that doesn't make it any easier to go there and drop $150 on a dinner for two.

I would like to be paid as much as they earn for doing my job in the countries you list with high gas prices please.

The Empanada Company (empanada.ca) in the Lake Shore and Browns Line area (like a mile E of Dixie) has empanadas, tamales and they even have pastel de choclo but it seems to be relatively piss-poor in ingredients.. Still, their empanadas are REALLY good and the tamales are also decent.
La Rosa Chilena is somewhere in the North York area.. Solid lomo a lo pobre and they have other Chilean dishes, but I haven't tried'em.. Too far from me so we've only gone there once.
 
Gas was still at a $1.29 in some places in Peterborough. At Petro Canada in Ajax, I did however pay $1.60 for 94. I wanted to choke someone.
