Funny...I have my bike up on Kijiji for sale

and in the ad I mention that I might be interested in an interesting trade, possibly a small dual sport ...

I get a guy who emails me asking if I would take 1 million AeroPlan points plus 2k in cash ... WTF ? anyone ever been offered points LOL ... obviously I have no use for the points haha
 
Dude - I had my BMW up for sale once and I got a totally serious email from some random woman who wanted to trade me 20 show puppies that I could easily sell for over 1K each.

Some weird people out there man.
 
Wow that is wacky. All I get are the paypal scammers and a guy who asked if I would trade for a "sweet trans am"

I got offered a PS3 + 10 games, Xbox +10 games, a 32" Flat screen, 2 pairs a running shoes (Still in the box), a columbia jacket, 2 watches, 120 DVD's, a bar fridge and a coin operated pool table for my truck??????


I told him to email me back when he moved out of his moms basement.

Dunno what your bike is or what its worth but just for sh.ts and giggles...

$500 worth of costco cash = 67 000 points

1000000/67K = 14.9

14.9 X 500 = $7450

plus his 2K cash. Not too shabby?

I see what you are saying ..but how would someone transfer aeroplan points?...and how would the receiving end know that the points weren't boosted up with a bogus credit card or something like that...sounds like too much of a scam for me
 
when i was selling my old bike i had some crazy offers too.

One guy offered to trade me for two old ford exporers that each had over 250,000 km on them. One of which was not running. He sent me pics. They were on a lawn with waist high grass growing around them.

Another guy offered to trade a band saw and some cash.
 
ive gotten alot of golf club trades on kijiji for some reason
 
I put my Prelude up for sale and I did get SS bikes for trade.I refused the offers. Then I sold my car and saw a really cool mustang for sale. The guy I was interested in buying a mustang from actually refused my money cause he only wanted an SS as a trade.... karma is a b!itch, ain't it?
 
My bike got;
- an offer for full price, someone else would pick it up
- a question asking what the price was (fully disclosed in the ad)
- 2 people asking for more information... in both cases they said something similar to; "do you have any more info on it?". My response was "what do you want to know?"... I never got responses.
 
My friend who just sold his ZX-9 on Kijiji also included that he was open to trades.

One offer was for ivory tusks.
 
I love the trades where they say you could easily sell the (truck, sled, atv, lawnmower, ps2 with games) for more than the asking price of your ad.

If it was so easy why wouldn't you sell it for that and then pay me my full asking price and come out ahead?
 
I love the ivory tusk offer.. they'd look sweet sitting on a fire place mantle and maybe a few stuffed animals mounted on the wall next to it.. I cant believe you passed on such a sweet offer.. :lmao: Kijjiji people offer the best crap in trades, I would love someone to offer me some random animal part instead of trading a good bike for a old, broke, no ownership POS.. Sign me up.
