Funny...I have my bike up on Kijiji for sale

Which In ad it states cash or trade for 600/750 track bike only. No other trades. (ad also states lowballers will be ignored and no PayPal)

- the prince of somewhere
- the friend of a friend PayPal
-purple cavalier plus sweet rims and cash
-POS Ford Explorer plus cash
- Pretty nice Honda ATV worth 5g less than bike
- racing skidoo worth 3g less
- a bass boat
- one guy offered me 8g cash
- 2007 CBR1000
- 2011 monster696 stock plus cash (already have one)
And
One guy offered up his girlfriend. Stated she was a really great ride but too expensive for him to keep, he was looking for something a little bit more stable. Lol

I told him I couldn't take the trade since I already accidentally married one of those years ago....

I love the trades where they say you could easily sell the (truck, sled, atv, lawnmower, ps2 with games) for more than the asking price of your ad.

If it was so easy why wouldn't you sell it for that and then pay me my full asking price and come out ahead?

I have a similar pet peeve of people selling bikes indicating it only needs a $xx part and it's good as new. If that's all it really took, the seller couldn't scrounge $xx and make more money on the sale?

the funny thing is that the transfer of aeroplan pts are taxed...in order to transfer them, aeroplan estimates the value of the pts, then taxes the original owner accordingly lol.

I remember trying to combine pts with my ex so that we could both fly round-the-world business class. The tax ended up costing the same amt as a ticket during low season. I never went through with it, but what a crock of **** the aeroplan pt system is.

The key with aeroplan points is to not transfer them, but to authorise another user on your account. No fees involved then. What is the value of the bike? Depending on that, I may have him fork up the $2k, plus points and I will give you the cash balance for the points.

hot damn...

Dunno what your bike is or what its worth but just for sh.ts and giggles...

$500 worth of costco cash = 67 000 points

1000000/67K = 14.9

14.9 X 500 = $7450

plus his 2K cash. Not too shabby?

Prob is they expire..... I had years of points racked up. They aeroplan put in this expiry clause. I have nothing now. Too easy to lose the points its a stupid system. Was much better when it was associated with Canadian Air.

i sold a TV in november for southwest air rewards points. we redeemed them for tickets, gave the guy his tv.

would have cost us $1400 for the tickets, but got it for the price of a $500 tv.

worked great. got home from florida last night.

When I was selling my ninja 250 on kijiji, although I never got trade offers but I did get questions regarding insurance costs without any offers on my bike....
I never knew you gotta be an insurance broker as well when selling a motorcycle

Someone offer me a trade to give me a Mazda protégé for a Bmw 328i.
Plus $200

I didnt even ask for a trade

Sent from my tablet using my paws

My bike got;
- an offer for full price, someone else would pick it up
- a question asking what the price was (fully disclosed in the ad)
- 2 people asking for more information... in both cases they said something similar to; "do you have any more info on it?". My response was "what do you want to know?"... I never got responses.

I just got a response from one of the "do you have any more info on it?" askers... a Paypal offer with a shipping company.

Although I've had multiple inquiries to buy the supermoto wheels separately which will become an option only if someone buys the bike without!

Let's see.. Got offers of cabinet work and tree pruning services... Sold the bike for cash, tyvm

I got offered 4 watches a flute and his ex gf's number for my last sale.
I did ponder it!

I got offered an i-phone once, also an i-pad, but my favourite was a snake and two other reptiles for a CRB125.

Funny...I have my bike up on Kijiji for sale

and in the ad I mention that I might be interested in an interesting trade, possibly a small dual sport ...

What have you got for sale?

everything is always worth something to someone. I do this all the time when welling stuff that has a small market. For example if I'm selling a dodge charger bumper I only have people/ customers with chargers looking to buy the bumper. But if someone wants to trade me a double din pioneer stereo that can be put into any car for equal or more value I have now expanded my "customer" base, so to speak. I can than sell that stereo allot quicker and easier than sitting on a big front bumper.

look at that kid who god famous for trading a cellphone upto a Porsche. you never know and it doesn't hurt to ask.

I got offered a PS3 + 10 games, Xbox +10 games, a 32" Flat screen, 2 pairs a running shoes (Still in the box), a columbia jacket, 2 watches, 120 DVD's, a bar fridge and a coin operated pool table for my truck??????

I told him to email me back when he moved out of his moms basement.

Sounds like the guy REALLY wanted whatever you were selling. Enough to part with almost every possession of any value. No thanks!
