Free Frekey!!

I'll just answer with a few of my favourite quotes from Thomas Jefferson:

Now back on topic...
A little birdie told me he was advertising his services without informing Paul. If you ask me Paul, he did alot to the community and he deserves more than that. He was always one of the contributing guys in the Technical forum and he was always willing to offer help, even if he was not paid. For Chrissakes, I've borrowed tons of tools from him and he never asked for a cent. Everytime he had helped someone, he would never ask for a definitive amount $, he just ask to pay whatever you felt it was worth. I would say the only reason he would accept any money were to pay for the tools and hardware he uses, things don't come free in this world.

Paul, you can PM me if you don't want to discuss this in Public.

On a final note....

Free Frekey!!!!

+1 He's gone out of his way to help me out so many times. Coming to my house from brampton to scarberia. Always helpful and didn't ask for anything.

Dude is an awesome member of the community and definitely a supportive member.

He is a good guy. He always had something technical to add to a discussion.

I have only met him once but he was very interested in bikes. Too bad he gets penalized for it.

He's your neighbor, he lives a stone throw from u, lol.

dont **** with paul, he'll **** you up

Hey Paul, why are you using that Username?? :)

I'm applying to be a mod soon, don't tempt me, Homer

Sooo... maybe I haven't been here long enough, but would it be fair to say this forum is a dictatorship? (Just so I know for the future)

paul maintains the system and pays the bills, it's just like a bar, people are free to come (providing they meet the entrance requirements) but if they cause a disturbance they are removed, some times politely sometimes not. Some times you don't like the service at a particular establishment and you are free to choose other establishments to grace your presence with, you can even make your own establishment...

ps Free D/Yetti/Speedfreak/etc

pps i suspect sundancekid had something to do with it as he is banned at the same time. ask them.

No, the forum doesn't dictate what we have to do, it just restricts what we can do. It's a restrictorship?

Dude, it's an internet message board.

Wow, this thread went to full retard pretty quick...

So seriously, what was the reason; any mods care to explain?

I'm going to look at the FAQ now to see where my infractions would show up, if I got some.
I doubt I have. I have been a mod on different forums before so I know the jist of the basic public forum rules. Private forums are a whole other ball game haha.
Everyone interprets things differently though, and what one person considers non-offensive can be seen as a rule violation by others.

It all comes down to opinions! My freedom ends where the next person's freedom begins.

If Frekeyguy is banned, then why am I not? Gawd, I've received so many infractions it would make your head spin. :lmao:

Ok, in all seriousness now... suspensions are one thing, but outright banning is another. I'm all for suspensions of a few days, or a week. But I'm not for banning unless say, the member has been suspended so many times (number to be determined). Know what I mean? And it seems to me that some members get away with a hell of a lot of trolling and nothing ever happens to them, but others get infractions for pretty mundane things. One of my best friends moderates a forum, so I've watched and understand how this plays out. There's nothing objective about it.

This must be the result of the off season?

Fair enough, and very well put.

Indeed it is. Just making sure I understand the playground rules beforehand.

Why doesn't he just pay The fee & that way he can advertise? :/

Edit: what is the ridiculous fee for posting up in threads, that your willing to help someone ?
