I'm not trying to stir the pot here, but I don't agree. It's a perfectly public matter worth discussing (assuming the ban was for a comment made on the forum).

First, this is a public forum; people post comments for all to see. There is no privacy in that. Second, I'm sure many people would like to know the reason, so that they don't go an make the same mistake. I don't think my logic here is unreasonable... is it?

I hope that's not unreasonable, because I agree with it. However I believe most forums see things differently, and GTAM does too. If you want to know more try PMing Paul and see how far you get.

If you want to know why he got banned...ask him....

As for not making the same mistake....simply follow the rules you agreed to when you signed up and you'll have no problems!

Keep in mind it probably just wasn't one incident. If anything, he probably accumulated a bunch of infractions, which resulted in a time-out.

There was that kawk thread not too long ago :p

A little birdie told me he was advertising his services without informing Paul. If you ask me Paul, he did alot to the community and he deserves more than that. He was always one of the contributing guys in the Technical forum and he was always willing to offer help, even if he was not paid. For Chrissakes, I've borrowed tons of tools from him and he never asked for a cent. Everytime he had helped someone, he would never ask for a definitive amount $, he just ask to pay whatever you felt it was worth. I would say the only reason he would accept any money were to pay for the tools and hardware he uses, things don't come free in this world.

Paul, you can PM me if you don't want to discuss this in Public.

He is a good guy. He always had something technical to add to a discussion.

I have only met him once but he was very interested in bikes. Too bad he gets penalized for it.
