But thats how boss ford is.... they tried to extort him and even though he was the mayor he said F it... and look at him....55% approval rating!! Come on now, this guy is the man all the way around.

At the end of the day who really cares? We all know they do it, we don't need another media frenzy or a you tube clip to confirm it the others are rotten also.

I care. There has to be a line somewhere that can't be crossed without consequence. Ford has gone above and beyond. It's the bad judgement of consorting with gangs, and the mealy-mouthed lying about, and not taking responsibility for his actions. It's the fact that he called reporters who were reporting truthfully pathological liars, and the characterization that all his problems are caused by others in a smear campaign when clearly the problems are caused by his behaviour. I simply have no respect for someone with this amount of lack of honesty and integrity.

i know I go on and on about this, but the horse isn't dead yet when there are still so many people willing to look the other way. All politicians need to be held accountable, and the most egregious come first. I'm not willing to buy the argument that all politicians are dishonest so let's not bother Rob Ford about it.

Funny how people get upset cause Ford tried to hide his personal problems, yet they happily fork over a pile of tax dollars to a Government that's clearly robbing us blind.
We need more "regular joes" like Ford in politics that aren't looking to deceive the people at every turn.

Not at all, he has been doing the job he gets paid to do. Sure, he tried to hide his minor little personal issues, name one person who wouldn't. The fact that so many people support him, proves they can relate to him. Is crack use worse than some guy hooked on prescription drugs driving your TTC bus for example?

I agree with the sentiment that politicians that need to be more in touch with the vast majority of Canadians however..a regular joe Rob Ford is not and to say Rob ford isn't looking to deceive people isn't true he lied at every stage of this scandal and there is probably more to come.

The key word is the bribe part.

I actually believe he's about 10x worse than the next worst politician in the country, for sure. How do you paint them all with the same brush? I can name dozens of politicians names off the top of my head and you'd have to show me how any one of them is even potentially as bad as Ford, with the strength of the claim you are making. But that's ridiculous.

No, sorry you're right. Rob Ford is the best mayor the city has ever had, and the most honest, and if you don't believe it just ask him yourself.
 
So the guy smoked a little crack and likes to get loaded. Sounds to me like he knows how to party!

Wish him all the best in his next election and I'd vote for him if I lived in Toronto. All the craziness aside he has done Toronto a major help.

But everyone will view this differently... FLAME ON!
 
Don't recall where I read this, but the title "Crack Cocain Toronto Mayor" and it's derivatives have reached even the furthest corners of the earth--knowledge on the subject surpassing any 'actual' Canadian achievements (WWII, Canadarm, ect).

You mean like redirecting TTC buses to pickup his football team. He has wasted plenty of tax payer Money. Less than others perhaps but still he's not politically squeaky clean either.
