COSTCO is awesome. Especially for filling up gas. I love it. Mind you I go at either 6:30am or 10pm to not bother with lines.

As for their cashback I average $500-700/year.

You eat too much sir.

I wish the executive card gave us money back on gas purchases

Was in victoria for a few days. All gas stations have regular at 162.9 . No difference between stations, no difference with time. Not sure if it is govt price fixing like out east or less official.

There are different fuel tax surcharges depending on which part of BC you're in. Greater Vancouver pays $0.13 more tax than the rest of BC. Victoria pays $0.06 more than rest of BC.

If you live in Langley, just outside of Vancouver, it's worth the 10km drive east to Abbotsford, which is not hit by the GVA tax. There, gas is typically $0.10 or more cheaper. People driving into the city always gas up just outside of GVA limits, not matter how full their tanks are.

Years ago people here were complaining about erratic price depending on time of day so the oil companies stabilized.......... at the higher price.

The Grinch also attacked Halloween. I noticed my package of Cheesie hand outs only had 45 of the little little bags. The last Halloween there were 50. Shrinkflation. The price was up as well.

We only had about 15 kids and I 'll snack on the left overs.

Shrinkflation is a constant in processed packaged goods. Just observe cookies and cereal. Cereal went through a shrink a few years ago they changed the depth of the package to be narrower. Cookies are constantly being juggled with less cookies in the tray or tray configuration being changed to hold less with bigger gaps between, outter package stays the same. 🤷‍♂️

My wife likes celebration cookies. They keep changing the tray to fit less cookies. If they did the whole thing, you may think that they did it to protect the cookies from damage, but only doing part of it shows you they are just being ^*(&^*&^Y.

Shame we don’t have one dollar notes so you could pay for them with a note wrapped around a blank piece of paper masquerading as other notes.

Heard on the news dairy products are going to sky rocket in the next month or two

I went to Costco and it cost >$80 for some buns, deli meat, cheese and two packs of tooth paste 🤯
