Must be an awesome 2 stroke. My Bill Burr tuned machines couldn't come close to a 4 stroke in the low rev department for a slippery surface, they would either try to rip the knobbies off the tires or lug with no power or stall. Woods racing and the average Joe trying to go up a steep and slippery incline with exposed roots the 4 stroke rules. Torque is just enough to keep forward momentum at low revs. The 2 stroke racers aren't going to do that for a guy who wants to go dirtbiking, and not racing.
Remember we are talking about people who have just discovered dirt biking here.
I'm no pro and it took me all of 15 minutes to teach my 16 year old daughter to slip a clutch to prevent stall when riding technical terrain on my stock 125.
Funny how there was only 2 bikes in the pro class at this past weekends Corduroy Enduro that were 4 strokes according to Sherco. They were both factory sponsored riders and they only managed a 3rd and 4th.
