There is noway i would be able to narrow it down. This is a tough question. Gilmour is sick man and
sultans of swing is MINT ! knopfler has a sound all his own at lead or rythem

Me and my friends always talk about these sort of stuff. Its soooo hard to narrow down

Therefore i give both songs + 's :)
This should be interesting....
 
Not my kind of music, but I enjoy good music of any genre.
Can you guys post some vids. instead of just saying the name/title?
It would just make things easier.

Crazy Train - Ozzy/Rhodes. I don't have a "best" though. There are so many.

Pride and Joy - SRV - Saw him open for Robert Plant in the Gardens. Enjoyed Stevie more than Robert. Went through about 20 guitars during his set.

Dave Gilmour is the man. IMO this song is the ultimate EPIC Floyd tune. It's also obscenely long, so start listening at about the 16 minute mark for the build-up to the best guitar part:

big Fan of some of Lenny Kravitz' stuff though....the dude can total rock out....saw him at the Molson Amphitheatre years ago and was one of the best shows I've seen...some serious guitar rock....not sure of the name of the guy in his band with the big hair (pretty sure he's a cannuck) but the dude can play
