Recently attended my Uncles funeral (Dad's brother). He was 98. Grew up on a dirt poor farm in the depression and fixed Halifax bombers in WW2. My cousin told us recounted how they were up north (north of Superior) hunting deep in the bush with snowmachines and one machine died. They spent hours in the freezing cold fixing the engine in the dark with a flashlight. Uncle Stan took it all in stride and I love his quote "We all have to be somewhere, this is just where we are"
