F1 Thread!!!

So Robert Wickens just got signed to drive in DTM. How likely is it that he'll still progress to F1 from there? I'm feeling "not very."

Well..it's a step-back in a way..but I suppose it's better than not racing at all..he'll likely be making some cash too. A lot of it is politics and money..he's not Pastor Maldonado or Bruno Senna sooooo...

Lewis handed a five place grid penalty.

Bodes well for a good race, last years race was one of Hamilton's best wins and he has done well at this track in the past.

Mercedes front row...

Disappointed..but they won't race as well as they qualified..here's to Schumacher taking out Rosberg in turn 1!! :) Oh..Kimi 4th..happy happy joy joy.. :)

Go Schumi!

p.s. whats a good F1 website to get the latest stats eg. qualifying times, quick reports. I used to love itv-f1 but they are no longer with us. Can't stand a lot of the other sites. To much sifting around to find what I'm looking for. And TSN is garbage.

Edit : this one ticks all the boxes... http://en.espnf1.com/ But Im open to others.

I use crash.net. They generally have an article pretty quickly up with the times plain and simple. Not a lot of in-depth stuff though.

Twitter is the best, nothing beats it for real time updates.

Crash.net is next.

Kimi is looking good for a possible podium tomorrow

Kobayashi should be fun to watch starting 3rd....that kid could win the thing

not sure what to say about the Mercs starting 1-2...they always seem to lose race pace

Vettel must be pretty cranky at the moment

loving this season so far

ESPN bought f1-live.com and re branded it. Still the same good site. I have planetf1.com on my RSS feed as well.

that makes perfect sense.

Something about the espn site felt "right" about it. It was the old f1 live site that I used to frequent. lol.

never liked planet f1 site.

Impressive victory.

2 races done, and no clear favorite for the championship. It's like 1981 all over again....finally.

Kimi seemed to have over-driven the tires a bit in the end there! Extremely close race, other than Nico. If that's going to be the typical Mercedes speed for the rest of the season wow.. And it's 3 races in Jay! :)

Did you miss Melbourne or Sepang?

So far it looks to me like McLaren are the ones to beat. They may run away with it unless MB or RBR or Alonso can mess them up.

Whatta race.

If this keeps up, I may have to do Montreal again this year. :)

Bring back Martin Brundle commentary, please.

Schumi's tire guy should be fired.

I'm not sure it was the wheel guy..I think it was whomever let him go..the wheel guy was signalling stop but the green light was there anyway..
