When I got my M license in Vancouver in 1976 I wrote a 30 question Learners Permit test that I passed
and was given my Motorcycle Learners Permit. "There you go son, go learn how to ride in traffic and good luck." No practical test of any kind. Not saying that is good or bad, just worth mentioning.
