F you drive test!!!!!

They suck large. So many crap stories from my dad and my own experience with them. Plus I'm sure every one here wonders how all the crap drivers in Toronto passed and are on our roads.

because they drive out to Minden or Owen Sound and take the test. No 400 hyways and no traffic.

Nope right in our city too. My dad has witnessed people passing that couldn't even move foward, while waiting to re-do his test because of medical reasons. Meanwhile he had to repeat his test 3 times and he had been driving for over 30 years at that time. A very compitent driver too. They have lied on the test sheet saying he was going over the max when he never passed 2 below the max speed.

It is the biggest reason I paid big bucks to go through RTI to do the MX2 instead of them. I don't trust them at all. They pass people on what kind of day they are having, if they like you or the envelope you hand them. Makes me sick.

It is a know fact that some cultures, pay for a passing grade

It is all in the family

When I first got my license in South America.........

Just putting it into perspective that our problems are white rich people problems ;)

Because South America is the gold standard of all things booricratic doesn't mean we should suffer needlessly by white bungling. Should be slick like back in my day but I guess the new laminar license lunacy promises better drivers.

That was not my point at all, hence why I said "just putting things in perspective" as to say Ontario is not that bad, maybe not up to your standards but in the grand skim of things, it is pretty good.

Yes I know, your perspective is that us rich white folk don't have it so bad (even tho it could be so much better) compared to sub Equateriol peeps. I will check my globe and see if there are any undesirables working at MTO.

Inreb, let's do an experiment. Interlock both of your hands together, lift the middle finger of your right hand and now sit on it; this will keep you entertained since you are obviously bored and looking to argue for no apparent reason.

By the way, I am white and rich biiiattchh

P.S. Maybe I just appreciate what i have a little more than most

Got both my G and M ASAP so I would only have to deal with renewal every 5 years.

The Downsview location F'ed up hard when I went in for my G1. Both my friend and I registered for our G1's, waited to be called in to the testing room, he was called in, I sat there like ok... People after him were being called in and I'm still sitting here.... 20 mins later, he comes out of the testing room and I'm sitting there like wtf...? I go talk to the person at the counter and "Oh, the system says your token has expired and that you already took the test" - Wait.. What?? Talk with a few more people and I get the "Oh we can't do anything about it, it says you already took the test blah blah blah" when I obviously didn't if I'm sitting there waiting int he waiting room...

In the end, I paid the $20 (or so) retesting fee to "retake" a test I never took... I swear, It's just the Downsview location, I took my G1Exit, G2Exit, M1, M2Exit at Aurora with no issues at all.

I did my M test in Peterborough, walked in and booked an appointment for later that week, no line t o wait in either. Same with their Service Ontario office, absolutely no wait at all. I love being away from the GTA :D

The GTA is not so bad. Have you heard the horror stories from our South American brethren? I think a little perspective is in order.

I used to work with this mega-hot asian chick who couldn't ride a bike to save her life, let alone drive a car. Went for her test in a miniskirt and got asked out by the examiner. Guess who passed?

Last year they screwed up my G2, (yeah, I'm one of 'those guys'), and included my M2 in the fiasco, which was issue free. My insurance was cancelled in the interim because I was coming up on the computer as invalid. I was more ****** at Jevco than anything at the time - the ministry fixed their mistake, but insurance was unforgiving. In the end I switched providers and ended up saving a bunch of money in the process.

Lastly, when I went for my M2 I stood in the wrong line and fell behind my appointment time. The guy at the desk, freakin' punk, lectures me about paying attention and crap. I had to take it because he knew he was holding all the cards and could deny me the test.

They're all on my list...

You guys have to do what Paul1000RR does.
He goes to a few locations to find the fattest homebody chic then he flirts with her and tells her to just give him the license and we will take her for a ride.
I paid him $50 to get my license.

good luck

Oshawa was a nice, simple experience as well. No issues, hiccups or headaches.

I've had guys at a dealership tell me that they will register the car I'm buying from them with the ministry and that everything is all good, as long as it stays in ontario, I said what if I want to register the car myself ? "No no, we have to do it!

Basically he had a connection at the ministry to register a car that was smoked in rear end enough to have a bad title, yet they patched it with hydraulic dent puller and 20 tubes of silicone, and he could get it registered even though the title said it's ******.
