it's open, this model comes with a halfsies carbon cover as an extra. dealer already swapped the stock cover it seems.

Is that local rides only bike or would/could you take it on any slightly longer rides like you could with the XR?

Be disturbed no longer.

The Rs come with all-carbon fibre fairings. They're painted and clear-coated. The black lowers in the bottom picture are unpainted and you can see the CF weave glinting off the sun at the corner of the fairing. There's more CF than plastic on that bike!
 
Guys at pennisula are really pretty good to deal with, I bought a much lesser Duc in there last yr.
Congrats shes lovely .

I'm still shocked how you can double the MSRP on a bike at the accessories rack.

Well the upside to Evo's higher starting point is it is harder to double MSRP with accessories (although that exhaust costs as much as a nice bike).

I'll be out and about, however I don't expect to be leaving Ontario on her, that's for sure.

Maybe crate her up and ride her in Cali/Rockies or something, outside that. Nah.
